because the only "gods" out there who have asked for worship and provided instructions to do so are the creation of religions and cultures. They are "false" in that they are do not exist. However, myth has a certain power to it, and archetypes tend to pervade a wide spectrum of human consciousness.
If there is indeed a god, it is sufficiently beyond human experience to be categorically defined, or, it is so entertwined with human being and experience as to lack sufficient specificity and "otherness" to be worshipped as a discreet entity.
The two valid options I see:
1 There is a prime mover, a power from which all things spring. If so, it plainly does not give a shit
2 There is a divine principle which is panentheistic, suffusing everything and everyone knowable in glimpses within human experience but non discreet and undefinable.

I have to confess, I was no fan of your idea. I think there is enough sucking up to some of these providers as it is without making an official suck up contest.
That aside, 30 days moderation seem a bit harsh. What was their justification? Was it the fact that you called it "official" without permission from the PTB? If that was their rationale, I can understand. Still sucks though.
I hope that's true,,,it is my understanding that we have a soul and it doesn't go to purgatory. Not even sure where it goes now!,,,I was always convinced it was Heaven or Hell! I just want to get it right,what ever it is!
