From someone with ancestry from Ireland. Madison O'Hare is a fake name, but my real name is undeniably Irish with the O dropped. And undeniably also, I have the family heritage of drinkers My family came here to farm after the potato blight in Ireland. (I hope they were treated better than the hispanics are treated today)

Happy St. Patrick's Day to You .
If your Irish family was treated well in America soon after Ireland's potato famine , they must have been Royalty .

were poor crop sharers not too far back. They must have been so courageous to come here. I think about that courage, and ponder a point when I can sell out here. I think Seattle would be real nice. Where they support small business, organic farming, and recreational weed My town Athens, Ga where I spent a good bit of time following music. kept out the Waffle Houses, Starbucks and WalMarts out of downtown, but now that all the locals are successful, they have all franchised and their is nothing special about them anymore. And then corporate moved in.
It is just like night and day between here in Georgia and the Pacific NW. I lived in Portland for 8 years (born and raised in San Francisco though), and what a culture shock to come here. I have not been to Athens, but I've seen the same thing happen in once cool little neighborhoods. One man's progress is another man's regress.
Ahh yes those evil corporations, lol.
Well who employs more people in Athens, local mom and pops or corporations? And the locals never offered medical benefits, 401(k)s, profit sharing, stock, paid vacation time, maternity leave, etc. Put the weed down sweetie, it's not 1954 anymore. We are really proud to have a new pharmaceutical company here, and Caterpillar that relocated from the north (I suppose to get away from unions) I understand both will fill a lot of jobs, and I think that is wonderful! Wonderful for homes to sell, wonderful for people to have money again. I think we all agree that people need money or it just doesn't work. Corporations just doesn't fit me. I have done the corporate thing, sitting in a cube, take your pill to focus all day and produce. And then work every Sat for overtime. Thank God escorting got me away from that life. No, I won't put down the weed that I have at night because I work for myself and I don't have to pass a drug screen for anybody. And I have taken care of people forever, almost at a point that I can enjoy my life. Just thinking of how I might do that.
They never say “put the Prozac down” or the Adderall, or the Valium, or the Tylenol with Codeine. And one needs to be a sloppy, chronically hung over, DT addled drunk for them to say “put down the booze”. But a benign vegetation and close cousin of the 'Hops' family that is neither physically addictive nor capable of overdosing on is the greatest single indictment of personal moral weakness known to the corporatocracy.
Why may I ask is that?Has no side affects, nor any levels of inebriation?

You are the one comparing marijuana to a chemically compounded substance.
In respect to "comparing Marijuana to a chemically compounded substance" I have to ask; If I have a "doctors prescription" for Medical Marijuana why isn't it honored in respect to a pre-employment drug test? Why this universal corporate prejudice for something that is LEGAL under a doctors prescription in so many States?
