In the 2004 presidential elections, IBD/TIPP had the closest poll to the actual outcome. Could they be right again in this election?

GWU - Bush 50, Kerry 46 (11/1)
TIPP - Bush 47, Kerry 44 (11/1)
CNN - Bush 49, Kerry 47 (10/31)
Newsweek - Bush, 51, Kerry 45 (10/29)

Yeah, all 2004 had Kerry in the Lead.  RIIIGHT.

Again, sure some of the polls have Kerry in the lead (take a look at the Registered Voters list), but ALL (except for IBD/TIPP)?  Please, give me a break.

Show me that poll.  In 2004 there was a TIPP poll.  But, there was not a IBD/TIPP poll.  Also, as you can see in the provided link, the final TIPP poll was not the most accurate.

The funny thing is that I heard someone on Fox "News" this morning make the same claim as you just did.  But, I did my own research.

In 2004, TIPP, a Division of TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence, came within 3/10 of 1% point of President Bush's actual margin of victory, thus winning the title of "Nation's Most Accurate Pollster." We're planning to do it again this time around, so why not come along for the ride!
