As I've long said, The Clintons will do whatever they can to undermine BHO without taking the blame.

Clinton congratulates Palin
Posted: 05:50 PM ET

From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney
(CNN) – Hillary Clinton praised the historic nature of John McCain's vice presidential selection in a brief statement released Friday that was eagerly anticipated by both presidential campaigns.

“We should all be proud of Governor Sarah Palin's historic nomination, and I congratulate her and Senator McCain," Clinton, the first woman to win a presidential primary, said in the statement. "While their policies would take America in the wrong direction, Governor Palin will add an important new voice to the debate.”

The sands are shifting, her footprints are obscured, but her voice is clear.

Hillary doesn't want to wait another 8 years to be able to run again, and then against an incumbent VP. Her and Bill have been tugging at that rug under Obama's feet for months now.

but for most of that they were equals, competing for the nomination. Ever since it became clear that BHO had things "wrapped up", I have been saying this and The Clintons have been "digging" at BHO. But now the frame of reference has changed. How Their actions will be viewed by fellow Dems has changed. So now Theer "new" campaign begins.

BHO will loose the election big time because he won the nomination with Caucus delegates, DNC leadership and the so called silly delegates (i.e super).

There must be someone to take the blame because how can the chosen saviour loose.

Who better than Hillary and Bill?

so I'll fess up and agree with you here. I hoped that Hillary would pull something in Denver and make the whole thing worth watching, conventions are so boring. I never had any intentions of watching much of either convention.

Don't count the Hildabeast out yet, I remember you throwing dirt into her open grave just before she launched a legitimate comeback many, many months ago. I believe that she will do whatever she can to undermine the BHO campaign without appearing "disloyal" to the Democratic Party. We've still got two month's to go, anything can happen.

She had to become more and more so. After everyone (including her) accepted BHO as the “presumptive” nominee, The Clintons toned things down. Now, after it’s official They turned down the thermostat a little more.

EVERYTHING The Clintons do is calculated to best help The Clintons. Now that means doing things that also helps BHO or the DNC, but this congratulation of Palin does neither. It only helps The Clintons and Palin.

You say,

"Now that means doing things that also helps BHO or the DNC,"

I would edit that to read " Now that means doing things that "appears to" also help BHO or the DNC"

As you said the Clintons are out to help the Clintons, and BHO winning the presidency doesn nothing to help the Clintons.
