Right wing nuts don't need an end game.

And before a vote. This after many right-wing Republican House members and Donald Trump slammed his nomination. Well he's the Majority Whip so he ought to know his candidacy died in childbirth.
More proof Republicans can't govern.

is for he 8 that started all of this.  Any ideas?

In my mind they don't even get all the blame for this. After all, it was Kevin McCarthy who agreed to let one member make a motion to vacate. And the Crazy Eight were not the problem in the votes for Jordan. That was the revolt of the moderate members who got tired of things being run by the far right.
And I'm far from sure what the end game is, unless it's some sort of bi-partisan, centrist Speaker from either party or even a deal to have a rotating Speakership until the next Congress is seated. It could work because I think the broad center of both parties agree on enough things like:
1) Funding the government.
2) Supporting Israel and Ukraine.
3) Generally working across the aisle.
We'll see.
