1) Your own bias since you don't probably don't really know if he's actually a conservative.

2) The BBC certainly IS LEADING with their own bias, pointing out his membership in the Republican party in their first sentence. Most other reports I Googled on this (left and right) waited until at least a few paragraphs into the report to identify his party affiliation.

So what's your real agenda here? To warn us of this derelict and vile impersonation of a human being that would beat his wife, or is it something else? Do you really want to start a tit for tat of who can make a longer list of dirt bag politicians sorted first by party affiliation?

How about we take a step back and look at the bigger picture. It's my understanding that Republican Governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley pleaded repeatedly for anyone to run against this guy who ended up winning his seat in the State House by running unopposed. Or maybe we examine the fact that now that he's charged with a felony, he will be required to relinquish his legislative seat. Instead of letting things run out of control with long lists of dirt bag politicians on both sides, how about we only make a list of Democrats from dark blue states that were allowed keep their seats even though they were indicted with a felony? Similar circumstances might be found with Republican dirt bags but my memory tells me that in general they resign when caught
