I don’t believe the divorce rumors, but in a piece in today’s Washington Examiner, Byron York noted that Kamala’s been in a post-election funk, leaving Biden to run the country on his own.

It's just nature.  Females who rise to higher social status than their mates have a strong tendency to dump them. It's called hypergamy. Or monkey-branching.  
.
That's reflected in the wider world where women want to marry men who make more money that themselves, but also insist on equal pay.  It's woman's nature fighting woman's nature.

There’s more evidence for the existence of women’s hypergamy than there is for gravity. And by definition, the truth can not be sexist.  

 
Furthermore, hypergamy exists in varying ways across species. It even can make predictions of sex ratios. It even explains how some people can be born transgender.  

 
Nature had two options. Make female gametes plentiful and male gametes rare or male female gametes rare and male gametes plentiful. And whether it’s sperm and eggs or pollen and flowers, across the animal kingdom, nature chose the later. This observation is not sexist. It’s biology 101.

for her to see that the rest of the world doesn't see him as much of a man.  This was foreseeable.  She should not have made him the poster boy for what a real man looks and acts like.  She turned him into a joke, so I'm guessing the divorce is HIS idea.
