If the 11th Congress (The one the Democrats controlled) passed a 2011 budget they wouldn't be crying about those mean old Republicans starving babies and grandma and stuff.  But of course, that would have taken just a little bit of competence.  Not Nancy's and Harry's style.

Yep, the dems have been surviving on 'continuing resolutions', since late in 2007. In violation of their oath to "Support and defend the Constitution".

"Budget, we don need no stinkin budget".

Every year they pass it later and later and later. It doesn't make any difference which party controls the legislature. I know this well, because as soon as the budget is passed, our office gets the go ahead to hire new people.

was due last year. They have repeatedly failed in their duties to pass budgets. And why are you hiring new people? We can't afford anymore, especially if they take FOT on the job like you do. A 30% elimination of the government labor force would work just fine if those remaining did the fucking job they get paid to do. You should try working in private industry for a change. They are always doing more with less. Usually, without a pay raise for doing more with less.

Yeah, the TFR, (temporary flight resrriction), Over Williamsburg is 60 miles in diameter,and goes up 18,000 feet. All the small, local airports will be shut down until next Monday evening. Gonna be lot of flight schools/operators losing money due to that. When Obama was in Hawaii for 2 weeks, the entire island chain was shut down by TFR for non-airline  flying. Did that ever fuck with peoples' income, you bet.

If the government is shut down at midnight tonight, all non-war activities will cease. The Blue Angels, USAF Thunderbirds, et al, will be grounded. Guess the big O will have to take the limo to Williamsburg, since, technically, Marine One is grounded for lack of funds. Go figure, lol.
