Let’s get our priorities in order!

We are at war in Iraq. How we got there is not important. Once we go to war you either buckle-up and wave the flag or get run over. If we miss, our almost ready for battle boys will slay you with their adverb/adjective RPG’s and spear you with their talking points.

Maybe mistakes might have been made. But it’s unpatriotic to suggest we screwed-up because that means you don’t support the troops. So unless you are behind more of the same (forward march), shut the fuck-up.

For what it’s worth, my source (Gus the one-eyed possum) says victory is at hand regardless of the situation and we will promptly withdraw within the next 12 months. Midterm elections will not be a factor.

I'm throwing my money into condos in Tikrit, Fallujah, and Tal Afar.

Since you asked....
All four of FDR's sons served in WW II:

James Roosevelt went on active duty as a captain in the United States Marine Corps in November 1940; promoted to colonel April 13, 1944, and served in the Pacific Theater; released from active duty in August 1945; brigadier general United States Marine Corps Reserve, retired;

Elliott Roosevelt was an Army Colonel and combat pilot

Franklin Delano Roosevelt Jr. was a Navy ensign who served in North Africa, Europe, and the Pacific and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Silver Star;

John Roosevelt was a Navy Lieutenant who earned a Bronze Star.

Now remind me again about the military service records of George W., Neil and Jeb Bush.

I asked about???? JFK,,,,,,LBJ,,,,,Clifton?????

The issue is, is it a prerequisite for a CIC to first send his own family to war before he sends anyone elses kids/// the answer is NO and the props=ition is fucking stupid./

"Nearby, a man stood in the middle of the street holding a gun to the head of another man in a car. Other drivers steered around them. No one stopped to help, or looked that carefully. After more than two years of war, Baghdad's people have learned to choose their battles, and this one didn't qualify."

"On the city's streets, the daily reality involves death, random violence and routine deprivations for people who are beyond anger. But a different view has been presented in the Green Zone, the concrete-barricaded headquarters for U.S. troops, diplomats and contractors, and the interim Iraqi government. There, the situation is described as progressing toward a gradual handover from U.S. forces to Iraqi control."

It's all good.

cheap, as in the way that the pain and death suffered by Iraqi's and Coalition forces is used by demagogues as a cheap argument that the situation in Iraq is a failure. Truth is it's too early to tell, and anyone who thought it would be over by now is just as big a fool as those who think/hope all is lost.

There are plenty of critisms to be made on how the war has been handled and especially some of the statements that the admin has made. But the ideologues at the Center for American Progress take the art of spinning quotes to a whole new level. Nice cut-and-paste job, though.

Is it time to break out the Nazi / Fourth Reich idiocy yet? ;-)

I'm not sure the administration believed their own statements.

CAP? For all I know they could be a group devoted to the humane treatment of vegetables. Facts are facts. Do you take issue with any of the above statements?

Nazi/fungi/Jane Fonda - whatever. I would respond to your post but your dog has fleas, I don't like your garden, and I have nothing to say.
