It took  a free concert but 200K Huns did turn out. That and $12 will get Obama a cup of coffee at Starbucks and a deck of smokes in Boston.

What is with the liberal fetish about being popular in Europe? Is it some vestige from being known as The Geek in high school?

Could it be that the left media is trumpeting that "They don't like us in Europe," shit to advance their silly agenda?

Most of the adults I know don't give a shit what they think in Europe. When I look at the people in the background when BO speaks the word that best describes them is silly. You have to be silly to vote for Obama.

I've heard from the fawning media for the past couple of years what kind of "Rockstar" Obama is.  Nobody ever mentions his accomplishments or vision.  But he is a "Rockstar"! And people really love him.  They faint at his speeches.  The media compares his rallies to religious experiences.  A good old fashion tent revival meeting.  Nothing about accomplishments.

But everyone is offended by ads that mock Obama's celebrity and quasi-deity persona he has taken on?  It's "sad and desperate" to repeat (with a negative spin)what the media and his supporters say on a daily basis?  I guess it would be better if McCain criticized his initiatives and accomplishments.  What were those again?

He has excellent blood pressure, despite being a cigarette smoker. How many others can say that?

You are not going to talk about the chosen ONE, ARE YOU?

He has already been chosen by divine election.  Perhaps that is the only real reason to vote for a candidate.  At the very least don't vote for McCain, who I have it on good authority uses stool softeners.  A blank sheet of paper is better than a Giant Douche or, in the case of John McCain, a sloppy turd sandwich on bran.

David Axelrod has his puppeteer’s hand so far up The Obamesiah's ass, he can scratch his tonsils.

I haven't heard a cogent, personal, adlibbed thought pass from The Obamesiah's lips yet.

It was clear during the debates against Hillary. Moreover, I read that he is showing flexibility towards off-shore drilling now. By the time he gets through, he would changed his positions more than a Chameleon changes color.

One piece of work.

will be completely convinced that these were his postitions all along. Too bad the written word and videotape will survive all of his changes of position and prove all that to be a lie, except to the revisionist history writers and their followers.

At the rate Obambi is changing his positions, he would not know what is his position on anything.

Why do you think he doesn't want participate in Town Hall's with McCain? He can't answer questions on his own without being fed to him.  All along the primary, Obambi answered many questions on his positions and McCain positions saying "That is a debate I am Happy to have with McCain". Now, when McCain called him on it, Obambi simply backed out. May be the answer should have been "That is a debate I am scared to have".

I live in a solid Republican area and what I have observed is that, I am not many McCain bumper stickers compared to Obambi. There were lot more Bush 04 stickers. Why do you think it is? I have my own reasoning and want to know whether any of you have observed the same.

kerrakles,
I am not many McCain bumper stickers compared to Obambi. There were lot more Bush 04 stickers.."

I see a lot of anti Mccain bumper stickers such as "Mccain" Bush's third term ..or Just  say no to McBush.. etc and those cars stay shiny. I wager if your car sports a Nobama sticker it would soon be scratched or worse..lol Try it as see if I am correct..

Obama attracts crowds of hundreds of thousands, while McCain counters with his grocery store photo-op (the Dole fruit juices in the background were a great touch, BTW).

Apparently, Paris Hilton has that kind of draw as well-- can you name a time she attracted 200,000 to any location? Therefore, Obama is like Paris Hilton.

Of all criticisms to make, saying that he's too popular has to be the stupidest, unless you think that Presidents with 30 percent approval ratings is such a good idea that we need to institutionalize it.

One thing about advertising these days is that it can make the dumbest, most twisted idea appear to be good judgment.

Need I post the same account of Obama's accomplishments that I already posted twice? One could almost begin to suspect conservatives aren't interested in reading it (gasp!).

BTW: you need to ask if the big crowds he's attracting, especially overseas, are really a matter of his personality. Much of it might be more due to the fact that the Republican party is now so unpopular worldwide. People are giddy at any prospect that the party of Bush will be vanquished. If Obama has to be a rock star to make that so, people here and overseas say, what the fuck? Let him be one.

When non-voters turn out for him, that's what it probably means.

I need to ask, what is the Republican fetish with being unpopular in Europe? You seem to forget that it was John McCain who challenged Obama to make the trip. Obama took up the dare while McCain went shopping. If Obama looks popular now, it's because of McCain.

Unpopularity in Europe has already been tried. George Bush was extremely unpopular in Europe, and we know that it foreshadowed such an excellent presidency.

Even if it was a free concert, people didn't have to stick around to hear Obama speak, in translation. More than that, arranging that concert was a stroke of brilliance by the Obama campaign.

BTW, comparing Obama to blond females is losing maneuver, but I guess McCain was pushed to the point where dumb was better than nothing.
