don't celebrate just yet.  don't forget the "Bradley Effect" which consistently shows political opinion polls to overstate the level of support for an AA candidate verus a non-AA canditate.  combined with the margin of error, McCain may not be quite as dead as he appears, though the prognosis for Senator McCain  don't look so good just now.

Between the "caging", intimidation tactics at polling sites and electronic election tampering the Rovian Goon Squad is on the case.

Too quote Chris Rock from his recent HBO special: "Barack; you got all the votes; but you still lost"

For one year, I have given my opinion in many arenas.  I have never tried to predict who would win the primaries or who would win the election.

Things really turned around in the past week.

Just as they turned in one direction, they CAN turn just as quickly in the other.

Hear me clearly:  I am not predicting they will. I am only saying it is just as possible as the turn in the last week.

I have been going to the track for over 30 years.  I learned one thing in all that time.

You never toss out your ticket until they post the result.  Your horse in fifth place at the halfway mark can get a burst of energy. Your horse in first place at the same spot can twist his ankle.
