New trend - How to NOT be like Tim Walz

Military folks showing support...... on what  NOT to be!

Do you have any better examples, because this dude is in a plane with his thumbs up and it doesn't say much else. Am I to assume not being Tim Walz is still serving in the military? The dude served for 24 years and was highly decorated. Comparatively, Vance served for 4 years. If this in any way is referring to him not seeing combat, well neither did Vance. He was a combat correspondent. Not exactly in combat. If this is referring to the lie about him leaving when he learned they would be deployed, like what? The picture is not telling me that at all. But for what it is worth, more recent information has surfaced that he submitted his resignation paperwork 10 months before they were deployed. Anyone saying he knew it was coming is making it up. The Republicans are trying too hard to slander him with false accusations.

You know what is true, that JD Vance is weird. Very weird.

Here's the most relevant part of the article from The Hill:
"Al Bonnifield, who served 22 years in the Minnesota National Guard, told NewsNation’s Joe Khalil that Walz, like many of the men in their unit, suspected they might be deployed soon but had been given no such official order when he decided to retire.“He told us that he wanted to run for Congress, and he was in a tough spot, because he was pretty sure we were going to Iraq,” Bonnifield said. “We didn’t have orders. We didn’t have any kind of orders at all.” Bonnifield added that Walz struggled with the decision, and talked with his fellow service member for 30 to 45 minutes about, “‘What do I do? Where can I be a better person for the soldier? Where can I be a better person for Minnesota? Where can I be a better person for the United States?’”
Others who served with Walz have said similar things.
Joe Eustice, who served with Walz for years, told The Washington Post he disagreed with the governor’s politics, but Walz did not avoid combat duty and was a good soldier. At the time Walz left the unit, Eustice told the Post there had only been speculation the unit could be deployed.
“Other than having a rumor, we were not notified that we were going to be deployed,” Eustice told the Post."

You didn't click on the post. He says, he likes the trend. Click on it and scroll down. There's military pic after military pic of guys all tweeting and posting the same thing.

No, I definatley did click on it but I was not logged into Twitter so it didn't show the other posts. I see it now. I mean look, military guys who are Trump supporters will behave like he betrayed them because it's the conveinent message. But the reality is he gave up 24 years of his life to serve. Vance only gave up 4. Neither served in combat. There is no evidence Walz knew his unit was being deployed. The comparison in how much Walz served to how much Vance served is not even a conversation starter. This angle is a sham and it's sad other miltary men are trying to diminish what he gave to the country by serving.

I am not saying this to say they should support him or Kamala. I'm saying this to say his service to the military should not be a reason to not support him. It's just dumb and sad. I hate that politics comes to this stuff in an election year. The focus should be on what you think the candidates will do for the real issues, like the job market, human rights, the economy, international relations, etc... These silly distractions from the real issues makes us as a country look like a joke.

Didn't he mock war heroes, fight with gold star families and call POWS and KIAs "suckers?" Asking for a friend.

Oohhh. See. Now, you should know better that this. I mean, we all know you're a member of the official TER "Where's the link" police. So, I'll have to call foul on this one. As you know, posting opinions like that is absolutely false unless you can provide an APPROVED link. Soooooo.......

Trump's awful statements about the military and his bogus Vietnam era deferment have been documented over YEARS. Putting up more links is pointless. Because you'll just call them bogus and you don't care about facts.

Between Walz, Vance, Kamala and Trump, Trump is the only one who took direct enemy fire.
