On Wednesday, President Donald Trump held a cabinet meeting with media present. X users were quick to criticize and note some concerns about the publicity.
CNN White House reporter Alayna Treene noted, “Every cabinet member has been given a ‘Gulf of America’ MAGA-style hat, displayed in front of their seats, for this Cabinet meeting.”
Real Clear Politics’ Philip Wegmann pointed out a concerning introduction Trump made, “Trump introduces his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, during the Cabinet meeting as ‘the most powerful woman in the world.’”
Meanwhile, journalist and author Sheron Boyle believes, “#Trump cabinet meeting on news now just one big ego stroke for him. Nauseating to watch these brown noses."
“Trump's cabinet meetings are straight out of North Korea. It's almost laughable how phony and cheesy they are,” commentator Ed Krassenstein posted.
One reply to him from an X user noted, “It's amazing how Trump manages to turn every cabinet meeting into a reality TV show.”
“Do we think the Cabinet members have a side contest with each other over who can be the most over the top and obsequious in their praise of Trump at these meetings?” MSNBC’s Sam Stein said.
Trump jabs at Terry Moran and ABC News during combative interview, calling the outlet 'fake news'
“There are actual Bidens who don't say their names as often as Trump and his Cabinet do,” Heather Michon posted.
Another user said, "Trump’s cabinet meetings have more lip prints than a prom limo."
"Weird moment from Trump's Cabinet meeting... other Cabinet members applauded after POTUS alluded to Elon Musk's coming departure from government. Also, very odd camera choice from the WH — the WH stream was focused on the back of Musk's head while he was speaking,"wrote Christian Datoc.
