it's clear it's not a major issue for the Minneapolis Republican Party. Either the Minnesota GOP don't know or they DO know and just don't care. Frankly, just looking at this on paper, I'm going with the latter.
There are two reasons I think they don't care. The first is strategic and obvious, at least I think: Davis a Black woman going up against another Black woman, Illhan Omar. Davis is not only conservative but she's a conservative *Black woman*. If we are honest with one another, that's a pretty big deal for the GOP. Although Black women consistently show up and show out for the Democrats, she could potentially pull some of that critical voting block away from Omar. And as long as she doesn't speak out against Trump and that vein of nationalism, I think those affiliated with the Republican party in the city and state will continue to support her. The second reason: why should the Minneapolis GOP care when they are most likely going to lose the very blue 5th Congressional District? Redistricting is happening which is going to make the 5th District smaller AND more concentrated into Minneapolis proper, which means it realistically will go blue in 2022.
Again this is just my objective perspective after looking at the facts. It's going to be fun to watch!

It's not in dispute that she was given a number of high paying patronage jobs for which she had no obvious qualifications by her boyfriend Willie Brown.
I'm not sure everyone on the legalize train has given much thought to the outcome of that. Seems government red tape would go up significantly for the service side and more taxes. For buyers the advantage may be lower prices because more competition/out in the open/less stigma. Who knows but it's never going to happen with the clown show we call government. If they try to run a lemonade stand it goes bad quickly.
The pour rate is a fraction of a regular old fashioned can and the excessive spillage is dangerous and wasteful. New marine tanks are ventless (epa required) and when you fill them up at the gas station with cold/cool fuel, the pressure increases as the contents reach ambient temp causing them to swell to the point of possible failure. Hard on the motors when pressurized fuel is pushed into the engines at a rate they're not asking for. More solutions to problems that didn't really exist.

The gas can regulations are a huge government failure. I personally can attest that the new gas cans don’t work well, definitely spill, and are a pain in the ass to use.
First thing I did with my new boat was install a fuel vent. Motorcycles I immediately vent the crankcase to atmosphere instead of into the fuel system. Shower heads, drill every one out. Same with faucet restriction. That button you have to push to keep your engine from turning off at every stop...there are ways, many are complicated. Light bulbs, things have finally come around some on LED but for the last 10 years it's been hell.
The list goes on an on, when government gets involved it's sure to be fucked up so be careful what you wish for.
BTW, if you want a good gas can buy yourself a VIP racing fuel can. It's used for racing so no EPA/government regulations. You can empty that sucker in about 30 seconds. There are also hose end options available making it even faster.
Republican women as a whole are much hotter than Democratic women. Dems have always been the part of ugly women, but if they are stupid enough, they can sometimes still be hot. Lol
