If it's going to take $150,000 household income to buy basic necessities and go out to the movies.  How in the world does one prepare for that?  Madison

Interesting article-there is a lot of chatter about the problems we face but there is no one or no group that if they have a plan are able to sell their plan!  Obummma is clueless as are the people he surrounds himself with!  My Republican friends keep stabbing themselves with their own fork while alternatively shooting themselves in the feet, hands, and other extremeties-then all go home for the "Easter Break", or whatever is on the calendar!   "We have met the enemy and it is us"!
Guess I will just stick around and see what happens next!  Thanks for posting these Madison!

I don't think there is a solution to the challenges.  Or should I say, that we don't have anybody smart enough to undo all the damage.

By the way, I hope you have wonderful Easter!   I going to try to book a vacation, while I still have a little money.  LOL

You go girl!  Have a great time!!

We're all told that the debt is some monster lurking after us. The reality is that the debt isn't something to be afraid of. We can actually take on a ton more debt and be fine.

But what if we can't? Well, SOMEBODY owns our debt. And no, China and Japan doesn't own most of it. Most of it is owed to the rich.

Why do the rich have so many treasury bonds? Because Reagan decided that it would be better to give the rich a 50% tax cut, which we're still paying for today. So instead of the rich paying taxes and giving their money to Uncle Sam, they're giving their money to Uncle Sam, and we have to pay them back plus interest.

If the choice comes down between the continuation of our society and paying back the money the rich should owe us, but instead we owe them....I think things won't work out so well for the rich.

You are dreaming if you believe that!!!

They will print their way out of debt, we all get hurt, but the little guy even more. We will never default, we will print.

Are your sources sponsors of Glenn Beck and Alex Jones?:D

in the same category with Michael Moore, Neale Bortz, O'Reilly, Hannity, and all those other annoying voices.  Yuck!  I would rather sit in quiet in my car and home.

I don't respect many.  I do respect the Judge Napolitano, Rand Paul, Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Elizebeth Warren.  I have always thought I had a gift for discerning spirits and connect with those that recognize suffering and speak honestly.

And rusty, if it does fall apart.  It won't be my first time at rock bottom.

Have a wonderful night.

I was joking about what I see in articles predicting 'the end' as we know it and just played on that.To that end,I respect the Michael Moores and Bill O'Reillys of the world as entertainers and nothing more than that.O'Reilly said to Glenn Beck one time when discussing Donald Trump--we're provocateurs and that's how we draw an audience.Exactly.Watch or don't watch them for who they are.If I want a media personality that I can learn from in a trusting way,it's someone people haven't heard of because his show isn't shock jockery entertainment about its politics--John Batchelor.Another guy is Jim Bohannon who has a measured radio show but hey he doesn't go off at the mouth...too bad because you could learn a lot from these guys instead of hot air.NPR is another outlet as well but too few of those.
