We have moved from a Authoritarian government to a Totalitarian Regime taking over!

There is the possibility that CL is making a statement and is attempting to rally it's supporters to the cause.
By putting the "CENSORED" logo accross the section CL is basicaly saying your free speech is being trampled.

Maybe a little outrage is in order here. Rage against authority overstepping once again into areas that get great press but do little to enhance the welfare of the public it serves.

Cracking down on a web site that really is designed for illegal activities, and that's what it is if we are honest, is not exactly Authoritian or Totalitarian.  Yes, I engage in this activity, but that doesn't mean I can't admit it is illegal.  I may not agree with the law, but it is still illegal.

If you spent time under a real totalitarian regime you would know how silly this is.  In 1976, I was in Leningrad, when the papers reported that Isreal attacked Africa.  At the time, I spoke almost fluent Russian.  I read the local papers, and could not understand the reason for the attack. Later,  when I left the country, I found out it was the rescue mission at Entebbe.

The ban on speech was so total that in the entire city of Leningrad there was not one publically published source that explained what happened.

When we get to the stage where the police are tracking down the posters on this board and arresting them, holding them without trial until they hand over two other posters, then we will be in the Cuba mode.

At that time, I will hand over three people.  I like my leg unbroken.  It does make a difference to me.

The debaters on this board are hardly on my list.  I have too many friends in my other life who are major libs for me to take a personal grudge against people for such a silly reason.  I may think people's ideas may be silly, but that's what makes horse races.

No. The top list of the people I am going to rat out are people who talk in movies, throw garbage in my garden after I spend hours to make it look nice, people who cross the street slowly when I am trying to get through the intersection, people who take too much luggage on a plane and hog other people's space, people who....

Shit. I am past three people.  I think I will just start ratting out right and left.
