many times over the past 5-6 years:  how could so many people, including many seemingly intelligent people in Congress etc, fall for Trump’s BS again and again?  This article gives an answer that makes sense.

Congressman know it's a lie but for their political future it's something that they have to perpetuate for their political survival. Believe and promote the trump lie or face a primary....It's why most republican congressman are gutless. Their constitutes have already or most likely have bought into the lie, so you have to play along or your gone.
For the everyday Joe blow, it's pounded daily to them, be it social media, where alot of the right get it's information from or one of the crazy programs on TV. Just watch FOX, Newsmax for 15 minutes and you'll get the point. These viewers are battered to submission that in time, they've become "brainwashed". They don't know if they're coming or going.
It's like that George Constanza... It's not a lie... if you believe it...

You seem incapable of following your own advice, based on the amount of bullshit you spew here.

But the reality is... the way Trump followers construct reality is: “if Trump said it’s true, it’s true. If Trump said it’s false, it’s false. Doesn’t matter what the facts are.”

The difference between my version and yours is that my version is backed by millions of real-life examples, e.g. all the people who believe Trump won the 2020 Presidential election (and Biden lost, of course) only because Trump said so, about a zillion times—not because of the facts.

A corollary to the above is, the more often Trump says something is true or false, the more intensely his followers believe him.

"He should have pressured Democrats to cut spending and raise taxes?" But Republicans controlled the House and the Senate. What about that?
More deportations? That would hardly seem possible.
He should have "focused on raising wages for lower class blue collar workers?" But aren't you against raising the minimum wage?
Being a stay at home mom is "fulfilling and rewarding?" Tell that to Moms who need to work just to feed their family.
You don't like propaganda masquerading as news? Tell that to Faux, NewsMax and OANN.
China? LMAO! Since when do we get to tell a foreign country what form of government they should have? Especially when Trump did his best to overthrow his own government.

it’s Wonka Vision.  But they’re similar in that both are fixed in sit-coms of the 50s and 60s.

I fully recognize that most women have to work out of economic necessity. But for those who can be home makers *should* be homemakers.

CNN, MSNBC and Fox don't NEED broadcast licenses. Because they don't broadcast. They are cable channels, nitwit. And cable channels don't need licenses.
As for the rest, you're still wrong.
