There ain't gonna be no second revolution. And the Dems will keep on pushing Socialism. Why? Because a vast majority of people in this country LIKE socialism, whether they know it or not. In fact, most people don't even know what socialism is, partly because the right has falsely branded it as something evil. Tell that to virtually all of Europe.
The fact is, the US is ALREADY a pretty socialistic country, viz Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, the ACA, the Interstate Highway System, etc., etc.
Personally, I LOVE socialism. Especially when I think about how you and CaCaCloaca are helping pay for it.
