Politics and Religion
This horrific photo graced the front page of today's Kansas City Star.
My nuts receded into my abdominal cavity when I took the newspaper out of the plastic and saw what greeted me in full Technicolor. It was bad enough to see written confirmation of America's chosen mistake on Election Day, but to have it presented along with this "vision of delight" was just a bit too much to handle. To put a twist on a classic Herman's Hermits song:
"Mrs. Shrub, You've Got an Ugly Daughter."
It should be apparent which one I'm talking about.

win the white house. those you seek to sway "don't cotton to it"
I hate "Bush the President" with a passion. That being said, attacking the physical attributes of his family is just stupid. It reminds me of the right wingers that always used to make fun of Chelsea Clinton when she was a teenager. There are plenty of things you can say about Bush without bringing his family into it.
you are stooping to the R's level when they used to slam Chelsea Clinton. Of course, that was before the R's discovered the "morals and values" platform, but seriously...lead by example. There is plenty to make fun of with Shrub without attacking how his daughters look.
Besides, I would nail them... ![]()

It so happens I think the Bush girls are kinda cute.
And both have shown themselves to be as capable as their father.

... However, see the drudge report webpage and the picture of Mrs Clinton.
Remember that critiques of the president's wife (her appearance) are as old as the republic. Remember how the GOP talked about Mrs Roosevelt. There were criticisms of Martha Washington.
Harry.
Worse when I recall that Bush's daughter begged him not to run for president in 2000.

has been going on for the last two years. Nov.2 was the vote on the debate... there is a new standard for what is the center of the political spectrium. This is not opinion but historical fact. there is stil a place for discussion but some here should acknowledge the FACT that their perception of the Center has been skeewed.

llcar: Bartles, Jaymes & I "thank you for your support".
I will admit that I left the politically correct train back at the station a long time ago. Occasionally, but not often, I like to attempt taking the role of "shock jock"; in other words, "rude, crude, and socially unacceptable". Today was one of those days, and I apparently succeeded.
With that in mind and now putting it aside, I still think it's not a flattering photo.
You must be so friggin' bitter, rather than us take a grain of salt, why don't you either get over it or take about 150 grains FMJ (so as not to make a mess of the back of your head) and get it over with. There, that's obnoxious!!
Mary Kay must be proud!!
