Sorry to burst your bubble, but that's going to be your harsh reality on Tuesday.  The Packers made sure of that today.

Their loyalty rhetoric notwithstanding, Republicans menaced and hassled Clinton's presidency after he was twice elected free and clear. Why is it up to Democrats and liberals to keep W's "uniter" promise for him?  He had the nation (and the world, in fact) at his feet after 9/11.  He had the power to take us to war, trusted on the flimsiest evidence afterward.  And I and most engaged liberals were behind him.  He blew it.  He lied to us about the war from the very beginning, and meanwhile took advantage of our trust to savage the freedoms and rights we value the most. At the same time, he's proved himself incompetent and mean.

But, sure, I'll unite behind him as best I can if his victory is clear and uncorrupted this time.  But my relationship with him will be, as Reagan put it, "Trust but verify."

...  nobody gets my automatic unqualified support for anything.  I wouldn't expect that from people in the GOP and I certainly would not give it myself.

if you are trying to be funny, why don't you use some fresh material, or perhaps count to 10, relax, think if you are able, then slowly take your thoughts and put them to words.  I would enjoy a non-slamming thought out point of view from you if that is possible.

I believe it matches the Republican legal corps, though Republican's with their position on Tort Reform, won't talk about that openly.

And yes, I'm being funny.  Too bad you don't share my sense of humor.
