I believe Kamala will kick his ass to the point where he won't debate her again.

And tell him to stick to the script? KellyAnne Conway and Frank Luntz have been saying that for months now. The problem for Trump is when he goes off script. You know this CKS. You should walk that statement back. It's really a hyper partisan and uneducated take, per experts on YOUR side of the aisle.

Every time Kamala says "felon" or "felony", must swig one shot of whiskey (or similar strength alcoholic beverage.)

She's had to memorize all new positions and attempt to answer questions about them consistently.  After a lifetime of radical leftism, it would be a challenge to anyone to suddenly pretend to be middle of the road.  I think if she has a flawed performance it will be because she becomes muddled trying to present her new positions against her old instincts.

Her Trump attacks are all already known -- J6, felon, rapist, Project 2025.  How much time will she spend on the attack and how much time will she spend clarifying her own new positions.

Trump is Trump, we know what he's going to say about every topic.  He's been repeating it at every rally.  For his part, he'll spend a lot of time hammering Kamala on the Biden record as well as the policy flip-flops.

If Kamala doesn't get flustered, every MSM outlet will proclaim her the winner.  The bar is pretty low.  

Commentators on MSM have already written their headlines for the debate outcome.

Polymarket has Trump drifting up ahead of debate. That seems to be in anticipation of the debate not hurting Trump.

There isn't enough time to rebut every lie Trump is telling. It's an out-and-out Lie-A-Thon.
But I do think she's getting under his skin. Trump looks like he's about to explode.
And good move of hers to walk directly toward him and shake his hand at the beginning.
I do wish she'd had time to point out that Trump has no clue what a tariff is and who pays it.
Here's a hint: The Chinese have not paid a single dime in tariffs: "it is almost always paid directly by the importer (usually a domestic firm), and never by the exporting country."

That said, the moderators were the most biased I've ever seen in a presidential debate. Muir ended up arguing that he and he alone was the judge of valid sarcasm. Holy shit!

Trump had to debate 3 to 1.  You're supposed to let the candidates fact check each other.  We don't care what the moderators think, we're not voting for them. Disgraceful.

As to policy, ABC did not allow much in the way of policy clarification from Harris, whose positions are still mostly a mystery.

Instead they mostly handed Harris attack vectors on Trump. So we know Harris hates Trump. But what are the policy details beyond promising sunshine and rainbows

Terrible moderators.  Horrible.

Trump's final statement was simple and memorable -- she had three and a half years to do all the things she wants to do, why didn't she do them?

Again, what was memorable about her closing statement? I'm biased, but I don't remember a thing about it.  What about swing voters. Which will they remember?

CNN pre debate had Trump 53 to Harris 47 who would best handle economy.
After debate their poll had Trump 55 to Harris 45.  She lost two points and he gained two points, net 4 points swing.

First of all, Trump has money and is an asshole when it comes to what he wants.
