I wonder what Biden's plan for Covid
There are 2 hospitals in my college town. They are full. They have to call hospitals in Atlanta to see if a bed is available; and they have to decide if you can make the trip or if you will die. You are not given a bed and the meds Trump received unless they think they can save you. None of your family or friends can see you, so if things get real bad you would die alone. This is fact in Georgia and it breaks my heart.
I would like to see Biden give us a universal income while shut down, in direct stimulus and send everyone a food stamp card. Only essential workers until everyone is vaccinated. He understands that we can't rebuild the economy until we take care of the virus. I would like all mortgages & rent to be paused. I would like the gov to help the Landlords for businesses and tenants, universal income, food card for each home and a roof over our head and stay home 3-6 months or however long it takes. We will never forget all those that lost their lives and the healthcare workers on the front line.Especially if the Republicans control the Senate. In fact, even if they don't I doubt you could get most Democrats to agree to that. And where do you think all the money will come from to pay for all the other things on your wish list?
Remember what Margaret Thatcher famously said: "The trouble with Socialism is eventually you run out of other people's money."
we don't need as big defense spending now and some funds in stimulus income could be given to everyone for 3 months to stay home until the virus is gone. How many lives are expendable to keep the economy going during pandemic peak? I'm not talking about universal income forever. I'm taking about in the worst time of all our lives; unless you lived in the Great Depression. I'm looking for an FDR in Biden. Am I asking too much?
First of all, when FDR came into office the Dems controlled BOTH houses of Congress. If the Dems win both GA Senate races they'll have a bare minimum of control, coming down to Harris' tie-breaker. So forget about a New Deal. Also, Defense spending won't be cut much if at all.
We still have a chance on the Senate and being able to bypass Moscow Mitch. A lot of Trump supporters are hurting in Ga right now. My concern is Trump supporters loved fast talker Doug Collins, and Loeffler may get those votes.
My daughter took a job at Amazon for seasonal help. She said all the managers are out with Covid and they made her sign a paper releasing them from liability. I made her quit and come home. She has 2 BS degrees and is ready to find employment. I've told her the virus won't last forever. That this is our 100 year pandemic that we are unfortunate to live with right now. But it's better to live later, than be dead.
I subscribe to this guy because he is not bias and does all the research. He keeps up with all the negotiations on relief package getting passed.

Are you willing to give up half your income in new taxes for fund the items on your "wish list." You are typical of those who want everything to be free when they know someone else will be paying for it. This country was founded by settlers who were responsible for taking care of themselves or else they perished. Its not such a bad system. Only the strong should survive. That's the way nature works. 80% of the first group of settlers at Jamestown died the first two years, and yet, there were thousands of people lining up in Europe to come here and take their chances.
I ran a business S corp for 10 years during the recession. My repayment to Fed Unemployment was not very much. My deductions for my employees state UE were not very much. My taxes I matched for Social Security was not very high taxes. The benefit of having these social programs are worth the small tax deductions for small businesses. And with my knowledge of buying inventory as years end, I avoided a lot of taxes. So 50% tax deductions is ridiculous and you need a new accountant!
Me individual, as a SW. I have the benefit of a client spending 48 hrs with me this weekend. That will carry me through, hopefully until I get vaccinated. I have been fortunate and have only had to use payment suspension with my mortgage. And the one stimulus check so far. There are resources I haven't needed to tap in to yet in Ga. and I hope I don't need to because our country is in a world of hurt. I still have available to me; United Way will one time pay my electric up to $500 and there are SNAP benefits I've never been food insecure. But I'm glad to know our country has this safety net.
I feel very sorry for the small business owners. I CANNOT imagine running a business during this time. And your dreams and all your hard work and profits suffering!

He stole the money and bragged about how he took a vacation in Hawaii! He pocketed 200K right from top and has no obligation to pay any of the 800k back.
