Why doesn't the Pope's astronomer say that he would let himself be "baptized" or whatever they ET's would call it, maybe convert him to his religion or belief?
I don't think ET's would be forced into our religion like the Indians were. Unless they were weaker. But if they were stronger they might force us to believe in theirs. Here it would go, another war over religion.
This is crazy, ET's might be too far away and if a few were to arrive.... hmmm maybe they would convert to believing in something we believe or they would get so confused in to which religion to believe.
Or they would stay as they are.
I don't know.
