In 1993 the Clintons slashed and burned the US military, forcing out a fuckton of talent that it took us years to recover from. THEN... Tipper Gores's bleeding heart nephew failed out of Marine Recruit training in the 1995 time frame and came home telling tales how they "had beat him" and they were a bunch of elitist pigs. More restrictions were slapped on the military and it was only after 9/11 did the US armed forces get something of a sack again.
Oh and BTW I have met my Russian counterparts who we stood nose to nose with during the cold war and they were some HARDCORE MOTHER FUCKERS that I would have hated to fight! One, in particular, served as a border guard on the Border of Iran where during his 3-year conscription he fought with Iranian soldiers several times. A little bit of history no one even knows about. BUT their meat rations were no shit-canned Kangaroo meat from Australia that had been sent to Russia during WWII and stored in deep mountain caves in the Urals. These would be broken out monthly and delivered to the operating bases in Sothern Russia. This was in the mid-80s, AND THESE MOTHER FUCKERS survived on that shit. The US army recruiting cartoons scare the FUCK outta me if that's any indication of where army leadership's heads are... all ya all should be as well but your not. I'll tell you exactly why having served is important to this discussion necessary? No but important. Your apparent lack of service means you have no clue what it's like. So Ill ask one last time because you have sidestepped answering DID you ever serve in the armed forces? Have you ever had to depend on someone else for your very existence? Have you had anyone depend on you for their very existence? Have you ever had to send kids home wounded and twisted from a deployment? Have you ever had to end someone's Military service? Have you ever laid on an operating table with one of your eyeballs out of your skull while a surgeon does his best to fix it and put it back in your head?
Gonna bet the answer is no. I could be wrong? But I am guessing no.
The majority of my adult life was spent serving this country starting Under President Regan and finishing just before Obama took office. What I did, where I served, and Who I served under gives me a perspective into the overarching philosophies of each president and their Secretaries of Defense. How they saw the military, how they treated it, In addition, the People I trained as my replacements and proteges served for years afterward with two of them still in today. One of them has Earned a PHD in Education while on active duty.
In my experience, Democrats have always mishandled the military. The Clintons were very Bad, Obama wasn't as bad but, he again started seriously weakening of the military. Trump for all his faults pulled it back from a path it should never have gone down. Hillary would have been nothing short of a nation-ending disaster! What Bidens has done to it since taking office... After the conversations, I have had today with my two friends still in, I am aghast at what's going on.
I'll leave you with one example. If you believe in Critical Race Theory (EVEN A LITTLE) and think it should be taught to our troops? Go to the nearest airport, book a flight to any part of the world, not the United States, and when you get there, go turn in your passport and renounce your US citizenship and never look the F U C K back!
