The jury is still out as to whether McConnell or his election staff committed a crime. So far only an investigation has been called for. No findings have been discovered,  nor guilt has been determined.  As far as McConnell's approach to attacking Judd, though I like her as an actress, I doubt if any Dem would have done anything different if the shoe was on the other foot. Politics has become a matter of going for the jugular, no matter what side of the aisle you are on.

As far as Coulter, you know you just got the chum the waters to get the sharks riled up!!!  ;)

screaming for a full investigation, and I'm quite certain McConnell's colleagues in Congress with put up all possible obstructions to an investigation, that are legally possible.

The gun grabbing lefties all like to say that gun owners are scared of their own shadows and paranoid.

But for some reason, it doesn't appear that gun owners are the ones who brick in their pants whenever someone mentions a gun.

Nonetheless, I am sure that many on the Board learned for the first time  that “people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.” And how perceptive of you to divide issues into “black and white” and then to assert that this is not one.

Yet you summed things up brilliantly with your “nice work if you can get it” riposte, although I for one nearly fell through the rabbit hole when you misquoted one L. Carroll of whom I can assure you never said and will never say “curious and curiouser.”

Yet since you still have been unable to adduce any factual support for your assertion that Mr. Morgan wants to take up away ALL our guns – as opposed to assault rifles and weapons of comparable power in the hands of the untrained and mentally questionable – I can understand the comfort these wretched phrases of the non-wordsmith might give.

The immoral of your story?

Wrong again, though never in doubt.

Laff-o-mania, it's really not such a black and white issue: you might be more comfortable thinking that your stalwart liberal backbenchers are awash with integrity without the stain of hypocrisy-but, that's not how it is in the funny little place I like to call, "reality."

For example, here's CNN Limey cocksucker and fugitive from the English justice system who regularly tut-tuts his way through his scarcely-watched broadcasts by lecturing us about the high level of unnecessary violence in American life that he wants to alleviate by taking our guns away snickering at the prospect of shooting Alex Jones with a semi-auto rifle.  This suggestion was advanced on his show by another no-talent, low-class liberal purveyor of Democratic party talking points, Buzz Bissenger who, it has subsequently been revealed is a shopping addict having the urge to spend $300,000/year buying women's dresses.  Nice work if you can get it, I suppose:

Here's Eric Holder, another one of Obama's current crop of Affirmative Action hires again lying his way through testimony under oath before Congress about "Fast and Furious." (Isn't it ironic that this administration want to take our guns away from us while they make sure that they, in turn, give them away to Mexican drug cartels?  Curious and curioser, as Lewis Carroll might say).

                                               www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8fVqt2culY

And the moral of the story?

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

...just as soon as gun grabbers stop shitting their pants every time someone mentions a gun. It is not being "macho" or "badass" if you don't leave a lump in your lederhosen.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say naive. Whether you are in politics, business or sports, you bring your team in and you "white board" the strategy. Everything is game.

Don't you remember the ambulance chasing Gloria Allred parading the Mexican maid 2 weeks before the Calif governor election. Most of the stuff was bullshit, but you have to give kudos to the left for pulling that shit at the time when the election was up for grabs.

Did you read about the KPMG auditor that was fired and will probably serve time in prison for providing info about 2 publicly held companies that KPMG provides auditing services to. The lead auditor for KPMG provided sensitive and private data to someone that used the information to trade stock in Herbalife and Sketchers. You're competing against KPMG for a contract. What do you do mattradd. What's your strategy?

You can't be this naive!

In it, there is nothing there that is contrary to what you just said!   ;)

it was rationale and logical. Everybody does it, blah blah blah. Then I saw your 2nd response, and it was almost 180 degrees different. Why would ANYONE scream for an investigation, let alone righties, and why would McConnell's colleagues obstruct an investigation.

I know it looks nasty talking about Ashley's bouts of depression and stuff, but that is part of what you do. It's done in politics, business and sports. Now you are going to ask how do you do this in sports, and the answer is Bilichick (lol)

I was just speaking to the nature of things, and how often there is hypocrisy in those who call for things to be one way from the opposing side, and yet turn a blind eye when someone on their side is just as guilty.

I don't think McConnell would necessarily try to block an investigation regarding what was said in said meeting, however if he had indeed broken any election laws when doing so, yes I think he and others would try to block an investigation.
