There is a YouTube personality / content creator and Social Media Influencer who goes by the name of Ms. Rachel [until this week I was blissfully unaware of her existence, as there are few things I sneer at more than YouTube Personalities and Social Media Influencers]. She creates content for young children: toddlers, pre-schools and that ilk.  I doubt any child over 6 years old pays her much mind, but they likely dig her immensely prior to aging out of her target audience.  She has 12-14 million subscribers on YouTube and another 2.5 million followers on Instagram [her Instagram stuff, such as it is, seems to be aimed at the parents of The Little Spawns of Hell, rather than on the kiddies themselves.]

Anyway, Ms. Rachel here of late has taken to Instagram expressing concern over the little Gaza kids being maimed and killed in that unfortunate place. Mind you, SHE IS NOT CLAIMING that they are being deliberately targeted. She has also expressed concern for the Israeli kids and their families victimized by the violence.

She HAS NOT taken a political stand on the issue, that would be beyond the abilities of her kiddie audience to grasp.  Her statement of concern are more of the motherhood and apple pie, bland vanilla variety:  Isn't it terrible what is happening to the kids? ; Why is this happening, and what can be done to stop it? ; We all need to pray for all the victims; and other incisive comments along those lines.  The kind of goo-goo statements that [ideally] would offend no one.

Ah, dear readers, therein lies the rub and where the devil in the details can be found.

We DO NOT live in an ideal world.  We live in an imperfect world full of passionate and angry and violent ideologues, the Israel First Neo Con warmongers and hatemongers and propaganda meisters being one of the many species in that genus.

It seems as if one of those groups, an outfit named StopAntisemitism has set its jaundiced eye on the heretofore inoffensive Ms. Rachel, and have requested / demanded that USA Attorney General Bondi investigate the cringy kiddie set entertainer as a paid shill for the Palestinian cause [with 12 million plus YT subscribers, 2.5 Instagram followers, and some merchandising deals and sponsorships, I doubt the lady needs Palestinian $ all that much].

Yes, and you thought that the days of Red Channels in the 1950 was over, did you?  Not quite, Kemosabe.

Among the horrible bits of antisemitism this lady has proffered are these gems of virulent hatred:

"This is a prayer for children in Gaza. Please stop hurting them."
"Stop dehumanizing Palestinian children."

 

The fundamental indecency and virulent, fanatical single-mindedness of SOME Israel supporters in the USA could scarcely be better illustrated by this episode.  I doubt that there is no lie some of them will not tell, no name some of them will hesitate to blacken, no career that some of them are unwilling to trash.

A specter is haunting The Israel Firsters like StopAntisemitism.  The fear that an innocuous, non-political voice might influence a few normie minds NOT overly concerned with the news of the day.  Anyone who has raised children knows the immense black hole of time they require, particularity in the first years of life.  Newly minted moms and dads without much time to follow events, and with an understandably heightened interest in children, Just Might Be moved a bit, if only temporarily, to question the USA's long-standing policies of thralldom to Bibi Land. let alone the policies of Bibi Land itself.  That can't be allowed.

There is an online petition of support for this lady circulating in cyberspace.  I haven't troubled this audience with it.

So, when the inevitable questions arises as to who constitutes the greatest threats to free speech in the USA, it's NOT BLM or the wokesters or the sexual alphabet initials mafia, their petitions gain zero traction with this here current maladministration.  The partisans of Bibi Land, well that's a whole different kettle of fish.

They've come for a goofy children's entertainer; how many persons and groups stand between you and them?
