Did you read the article you posted?????   Or just the headline?

Transportation/tech industry was mainly because of Amazon and UPS.    Amazon is restructuring.   UPS is changing or not handling Amazon distribution like they were.   How can you "blame Trump" for two of the biggest companies doing internal reorganization.   They didn't mention anything about federal policy that is making them do the layoffs.

The Healthcare industry could be because of policy.   Even though they said it is because of inflation, high labor costs, etc.    BUT is mentioning how Medicare and Medicaid re-imbursement is a factor.   So that you could blame on Federal Policy (Trump) to a certain degree.   But they also mentioned inflation and wage increase.

Chemical industry mentioned it was AI and contracts lost.    But didn't mention if it was contracts lost because of federal reasons or not.

So yeah..... this article is trying to "Blame" Trump yet only one of the industries (healthcare) could point to federal issues.  Which is how they get paid from Medicare/Medicaid.   But also had other issues such as inflation and wage issues.

Ok, where are the surprising omelettes?

First, I wouldn't lump the transportation and tech industries together.  Totally separate industries.  I will concede that the layoffs at Amazon (not a tech industry imo) and UPS are not Trumps fault.  Though if they were growing like crazy, he would take the credit.  As most Presidents would.

I am not saying this is all Trumps fault.  But, as with most Presidents, he gets the blame cuz it happened under his watch.  He takes the credit when everything is rosy.  He also gets the blame when things are not.

I think u will see increased layoffs down the road.  Just my opinion.

Mexico.
Canada.
India.
Guatemala.

Do you not read the real news and look at markets? Or is it straight to huff post you go?

First, the article was from Fox Business.  Not Huff Post.

2nd, I know all about the trade agreements you mentioned.  However, my question is how the layoff news will be spun.  Because Karoline will be tasked to do it along with a few others.  You don't give a damn about Trade Agreements if you just lost your job.  All you care about if finding another one quick.  And the current job market is very difficult.  We are in a no hire/no fire environment.  Which could mean we are treading water, new hiring spree, or increased layoffs.  I think there will be more layoffs.  Especially in the tech sector.

It doesnt sound like you know about any of these and may just now be learning this for the first time

Welcome to reality. Good to have you.

Layoffs, that could be a number of reasons, including state induced restrictions

I know all about those trade deals.  However, they don't pertain to my original question.  And neither do your answers.  I can only assume that you can't or don't want to answer my original question.

My fault.  I should have just said u didn't answer the question.  And u still haven't.  I still want to know how is Trump or anyone else going to spin todays layoff news.  Can you answer that?

Do you trust politicians or something?

Your thoughts are "Happened under his watch he gets the blame".... fair enough.

Yet you say I lumped tech and transportation together.... I didn't.  That was the article.    Also apart of Amazon's reorganization is AI and use of AI.   So that is "tech".    Tech sectors are pushing towards AI.

I also agree he would take credit for anything good that happens.

One thing the article missed was the whole auto industry.    How they fucked up with putting so much investment into EV's.   Yet that industry was trying to "blame Trump".... but now the truth keeps coming out.

Your first question was a good one, the second one didn't make any sense at all.

I think the bigger question might be on the timing of the plandemic....
