We don't have all the circumstantial evidence yet but it appears the would-be killer was hiding in the path of the ex-Prez with a loaded AR-type weapon. What other info there may be has yet to be revealed. Of course there are other possible crimes like trespassing. I'm sure they will throw the book at him.

Juries decide if they believe someone was intending to commit murder -- if the government brings an attempted murder charge.
