...voted for the younger Bush?  This may place some criticism of Obama into context...

versus Egore or Monsewer Kerry..It was my choice of the lesser of the two evils..
Fortunately for Obama and Mccain I don't dislike either one of them like the Wooden Dummy and Lurch

...but side-by-side with Bush he looked like a goddamn genius.  He may have failed, but he likely would have at least ATTEMPTED to end that disaster of a war in Iraq; which is turning out to be a much larger drain on this country's resources than anyone wants to acknowledge (doing so is unpatriotic).  As someone who also voted for the lesser of two evils in that election, I have to strongly disagree.  Bush 43 was much more of a disaster.

I voted against Kerry in 2004, and I am voting against Obama this time. It's a sad commentary on our political system when you have no choice but to vote for the lesser of two evils.  Besides Huckabee, McCain was my last choice among the Republican candidates in the primaries.  As much as I dislike McCain, he is far safer than Obama.  I hope McCain wins and doesn't run for a second term.  I am cautiously optimistic but I feel we might have a good candidate for 2012.

that could have got me to stay home on Nov 4. There is no way I could vote for either Obama or Huckabee.

I am a little less optimistic about 2012, but I hope it's a better slate than we've had for the last three elections. It would be hard to do much worse. The libs are fond of saying that we couldn't do worse than Bush, I remember quite well the days of Jimmy Carter and that's proof that we could do much worse than Bush.

Obama will make us look back fondly on the "good ole days" of George W Bush.

sort of unfinished business. BTW did anyone vote for Reagan?

Hell yes, I voted for Reagan (and I spelled his name right, too.)  And I proudly voted twice for President George W. Bush and, while I don't agree with everything he has done, I am very pleased with how he has kept our country safe.  He restored integrity and class to the Oval Office.  He has nothing to be ashamed of as he leaves office.

McCain was near the bottom of my list too.  But any Republican (except for that idiot Ron Paul) would be preferable to the junior Senator from Illinois.

"LOL" is about the only way to reply to that load of bullshit.

"Kept our country safe?"  lol...

That was too funny to even pick apart.

in either election.  I have always considered him a mental midget.  Moreover, he strikes me as impulsive and ignorant.

To sum up, I have judged him as impulsive, ignorant and stupid.  My, what a combination.

I'm not sure I got a clear picture of how many came rushing forward to claim credit for voting for Bush ...

Why am I not surprised?   LMAO

and all in all except for his spending WAY too much money, not exercising the veto and trying too hard to get along with the Dems, I'd do it all over again.
