BOTH parties to blame for the mess country finds itself in.

FFP, you're a tiresome partisan hack. The polarization bullshit you repeatedly sling is why the country's in the mess that it's in.

Lastly, it's spelled "speech".

why do you constantly state that Obama is gonna be re-elected ? Do you think voters will be "weak" for putting him back in office ?

"Blame game" is part of politics for hundreds of years. How many times do GOP blast "liberals for ruining country" ?

"If you can't take the heat------

& they decide election outcomes.

They just need vaible alternative, which they're not getting at present.

Lastly, you telling me Bush Sr & Jr didn't engage
in "partisan invectives" ?

....while it pains me a bit to get into the he said she said argument of partisan hackery, don't pretend that the GOP isn't engaging in the blame game as well. Romney himself has said that Obama has made the economy worse, which beyond playing the blame game, just isn't true.

If the GOP is going to re-write history and say that the economy took a nose dive because of Obama, then Obama is perfectly justified in pointing out that the nose dive happened before he was sworn into office.

Another campaign err uh state of the union speech.

Tomorrow BO will make another campaign speech under the guise of the state of the union speech.

BO  will blame all his screw ups (of which there are many), incompetence, ineptitude, irresponsible actions, etc. on others mostly the GOP.

BO  will take credit for the success, accomplishments, bravery and courage of others.

And BO will do it in his usual arrogant and condescending way .

Thank you

Yes, there is enough blame to share everywhere, sad to say.  Nothing to add. Just had to throw in Mercutio's lament.

President Obama's constant "blame" game is tiring and very unprofessional.

He comes across as very weak and that is clearly his biggest downfall as the President of our nation.

For one, President Obama has a big electorate that would vote for him forever regardless of his performance, like any successful politician seems to have.

And secondly, there a a lot of independent votes who stuck their neck out by voting for Obama in '08 that will never admit that they made a mistake.

And, yes, GOP people blast liberals.  But no one in the Oval Office, regardless of party, would be doing the blaming himself.  That is what VP's, Senate and Congressional leaders, Press Secretaries, etc., are for.  The President should be above that.

of that kind of work.

How in the hell do you think Karl Rove got to be so famous?

They were both smart enough and Presidential enough to stay above the fray.

Yeah, they made their share of mistakes, as all Presidents do.  But even now, years after leaving office, they keep their mouths shut on Presidential matters and would never say anything detrimental about one of their successors.

say what he wants and defend his actions and words.  It is expected in that venue.

But, in Presidential addresses, news conferences about other matters, State of the Union Addresses and so forth, I find it very classless and un-Presidential for a President to wag his finger and blame other Americans for all the problems.

The Buck Stops Here, as one of his fellow Democrats once said.
