You seem to be saying that Trans people commit gun violence higher than the population at large. Can you show us the stats?

Of course, Newsweek might just be the worst publication in the history of man. In the article they do backflips to try to avoid trans people getting any blame. But regardless of their bullshittery, you still get a list of trans shooters. Bare in mind trans people make up less than 1% of the population.  

Had you done so, you would have seen that it TOTALLY destroyed your point:

The Newsweek article was an apologetics piece. How do you do apologetics pieces like this? You pad the numbers. A mass shooting can be anything if you screw with the standards enough. The article itself shows vastly different numbers of mass shootings depending on the definition.

Please don't make me give you a lessen on basic math.

The definition of mass shooter is 4 or more victims.  This is going to encompass a lot of gang banger activity.  Blacks are twice as likely to be mass shooters as whites (i.e. blacks are 12% of population but cause 17% of mass shootings, while whites are 62% of the population but only cause 54% of the mass shootings.)

Curiously the transgender numbers could be pretty bad depending on the estimate of trans in the population.  There is a lot of variation in the estimates, and this highlights the statistical noise in small numbers.  If trans cause 1.3% of mass shooting but are 0.5% of the population, you can see they are nearly three times more likely to be mass shooters than white people.  To equal white mass shooter rates, accepting that trans are 1.3% of mass shooters, their population should be 1.5%.  So nailing down the actual percentage of transgender people can really skew their mass shooter rating across a wide range.  Division by small numbers.  A statistical nightmare.

The link in the OP (Post Millennial article) says that the Georgia shooter (14 yo Colt Gray) is gay, not trans. It also says: "... "He was just a good kid, but he lived in an environment that was hostile," Charles Polhamus, Colt Gray's grandfather, told CNN. "His dad beat up on him, I mean, I’m not talking about physical, but screaming and hollering, and he did the same thing to my daughter." "

The trans references in that article are about Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook shooter in 2012, NOT Colt Gray, the GA shooter in 2024.

about his post?  Are you saying blacks don't wat KFC chicken?  Have you seen their commercials the past few years?
