Her case against Trump was tossed out on appeal and the entire monetary judgement was vacated…

You are correct the guilty verdict stands. The financial penalty was thrown out as excessive. But I believe there can still be a financial penalty of some sort. Also, the court kept in place the ruling that he had committed fraud.
The Times said the other punishments were upheld, "including barring Mr. Trump for three years from serving in top roles at any New York company, including portions of his own Trump Organization. He banned Mr. Trump’s adult sons for two years. The appeals court, while eliminating the financial penalties, gave those other punishments the green light. One of Justice Engoron’s punishments that had already begun — the installation of an independent monitor for the Trump Organization’s business practices — is expected to continue as well."

…Trumps going to be busy for the next three years.”

YOU ARE MISTAKEN!!!!

You were mistaken when you claimed Letitia James‘ case against Trump was “tossed out“ and you are also mistaken when you say “Trumps going to be busy for the next three years.”

The Letitia James case is a CIVIL case.  Unlike CRIMINAL cases, CIVIL litigation cases are NOT delayed until a president leaves office.

Ever heard of Bill Clinton?  Ever heard of Paula Jones?
Clinton v. Jones (1997) held that a president cannot defer civil litigation until he leaves office if the case doesn’t involve any official actions while in office.

LostSon: The case was “tossed out.”  STRIKE ONE!
LostSon: “Trumps going to be busy for the next three years.”  STRIKE TWO!

Care to try for STRIKE THREE?

I don’t have to tell you to “Go fuck your self (sic).”
You already did it to ‘yourself’ -in this thread
BWAHAHAHAHA!

I must really have driven the poor lad completely around the bend.
Sad.
Poor Lost isn't even smarter than Wanker. Which is like saying Wanker has the brains of a Labrador Retriever.

Everyone figured they would reduce the disgorgement amount - but void it entirely? You would think they would remand for a new trial, or at least for the judge to calculate  a disgorgement amount that was not constitutionally excessive. In fact, contrary to the belief of one  poster  who opined that “civil litigation cases are not stayed until the President leaves office,” the two person lead opinion “ruled” that “returning this action for a new trial is both unnecessary and likely terminal. It is difficult to imagine that a new trial could proceed while one of the principal defendants ….is the President of the United States.” Thus they did not even bother with a stay- they said no further proceedings in the trial court at all. So Trump doesn’t have to pay a penny even though the lead opinion said the AG proved fraud?

And if 355 million was an excessive fine for Trump – and I tend to agree with that – how about the $4 million each for Don Jr and Eric, and the one million for the Allan W. ? No discussion at all about why these fines were excessive.

So I doubt this decision decided anything. It will be up to the Court of Appeals to decide this. My opinion is that the only justice who got it right was the justice who said entering summary judgment finding Trump liable for fraud was reversible error. This was a trial issue. A really dumb error by the trial judge. So the proper remedy should be judgment reversed and remand for a new trial.

What is a Wanker? As a service to our leading exponent of felching, I will elucidate, from the Collins Dictionary, since he thinks there's a homosexual component :
"wanker
in British English
(ˈwæŋkə IPA Pronunciation Guide )
noun vulgar, derogatory, slang
1. a person who wanks; masturbator
2. a worthless fellow"

And YOU, FelchYourself fit both definitions as well.
Your continuing and severe obsession with homosexuality is duly noted.

please see below where you are being defended by someone so deeply ignorant they think "Wanker" has a homosexual connotation. Even I would not accuse Wanker of being gay.
Hint: when you have "friends" like Loser and FelchHimself you are in deep, deep trouble.

The entire case wasn’t thrown out BUT…

The appeals court ruling: In August 2025, a five-judge appellate panel threw out the massive financial penalty. The court, citing the U.S. Constitution's Eighth Amendment on excessive fines, determined the punishment was disproportionate to the offense.

Again split hairs all ya want Trump gets his cash back and Tish James goes down in Flames 🔥🔥🔥

Actually she might not go to jail but disbarred and civilly broke, would be amusing. Why? Cause she’s an actual criminal…

What’s funny is the lefty asshats hate that idea…
