It's called dramatic license. It's a form of poetic license. It's part of the beauty of language. Why do certain people on the extreme right have to first deflect everything and second to pick at and argue with everyone on the left on every issue? Can't we just agree that civilian lives have been needlessly lost to police brutality and we have the power and ability to reform policing? Our brains allow us to have two or more thoughts at the same time. Likewise two or more things can be true at the same time.
THANK George Floyd for the "sacrifice" he made for justice. Floyd did not make a sacrifice, he was murdered. She makes it sound like he volunteered to give his live for the greater good, like the 100+ policemen who have been killed in the line of duty so far this year. THAT'S what sacrifice looks like. Pelosi is just ginning up the rioters . . . . or is she really that stupid to not know the difference between sacrifice and murder?
There aren't any. You want rioters so badly you're imagining them.
I'm imagining imagining me rioters.
I remember after 9/11people saying that other people were imagining terrorists everywhere.
I don't care much about terrorists. Even though terrorists can be seen as heroes overseas, here mostly they are not.
While protester and rioters from whatever side or ideology can be seen as 50/50 good or bad guys.
So whatever that means, I imagining imagining rioters in my dreams. Back to the terrorists, terrorist have a political goal in mind. Some rioters just want free stuff and destroy stuff. But terrorist and killers and evil. While protesters are mostly peaceful and lovely.

Like Mojo said, God Bless America!
About to be more riots over that stupid knife willing girl or if not that something else, very soon.

He readily admits that he uses "poetic license" on P&R. But what he calls "poetic license" is just lies and bullshit. Here he is admitting that his P&R posts are not totally accurate and do not make complete sense:
"FYI, I ALWAYS post things that are totally accurate and make complete sense (except for a little poetic license on the P & R board - Lol)."
http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion-boards/ter-general-board-12/where-the-fuck-----980705?frmSearch=1#980705
And the "Lol" is his admission that he doesn't care about debating politics. He's just fucking with everyone - he has no political convictions and is a disgrace to those TER righties who are interested in true political discourse.
The reason I ask is the following link from Faux ... THEY were discussing this and YOU are regurgitating them without giving a reference to them - so that you can say something that sounds 'intelligent.'
On the main point, not that you can handle it, Floyd didn't have to die - that's why it was a sacrifice!
Faux (not YOU) equating police deaths to sacrifice - has some points for me because dying in the line of duty is a sacrifice - but do not forget the police officers choose to be a police officer for a pay - no body forces them to die. George Floyd did not choose to die - that's why it is a 100% sacrifice albeit unintended.
"George Floyd should be alive today. His family's calls for justice for his murder were heard around the world," she wrote. "He did not die in vain. We must make sure other families don't suffer the same racism, violence & pain, and we must enact the George Floyd #JusticeInPolicing Act."
Insulting to whom and why?
that someone chooses. If a guy hands over his wallet when you hold a gun to his head, he's not making a sacrifice, he's being robbed. Instead of robbery, Floyd was murdered, but he did not volunteer for it. That's why its insulting. It demeans the concept of extraordinary people putting themselves "voluntarily" in harms way for the sake of others. Floyd did not do this. He did not offer up his life for any cause. People that do, like those in the military, are making a sacrifice because they CHOOSE it for themselves. Floyd had no say so in what happened to him, so its not a sacrifice. Get it, now?
with this meme. I was responding directly to GG's question.
But you were responding to a subject that had already been beaten to death.
I thought that was obvious. But it appears you can NOT even lay claim to a grasp of the obvious.
Sorry about that.
disagree with in the substance of my post, and I'm sure that irked you a little, so in spite of admitting my post was "True", you had to find SOMETHING to bash me for. i didn't think you were like Laffy and Genital Guy in that regard, but I could be wrong.
It was a gif. gifs are animated. Memes are not.
And, yes, I did agree with the rest of your post even though it was an unneeded repetition of the obvious.
But I guess when you get it right so infrequently, repeating it is necessary.
and you’re just trying to start it anew to look intelligent but in reality it makes you look foolish.
Sacrifice needs to be volunteered! I proved him wrong (not that that's much of an achievement given how dumb he is ...).
Come on chicken-shit admit you were just arguing with no basis and admit defeat, move on and stop wasting people's time!
He gave his life so we all could live in peace and harmoney.
He should become the patron saint of all oppressed people in the world, if there isn't one already.
Tone deaf because he didn’t “give” his life, it was taken from him. When someone sacrifices themselves, they choose too. Floyd did not choose to let Chauvin keep his knee on Floyd’s neck for 9 minutes.
Pelosi received just as much pushback from blacks as she did whites for the comment.
You say : "When someone sacrifices themselves, they choose too."
By saying this you are adding volunteering as a required condition of a sacrifice. Need not be.
I do not really know you and your world experience; but if you have traveled places on this earth and have actually seen some tribal practice of offering animal ( and human only in western movies) as a sacrifice to their gods or deity or evil spirit etc. - you will know that 0 living beings volunteer to be sacrificed. It is not a rocket science!
Even you can see that the definition of the word has nothing to do with volunteering (actually it uses the word victim in it - interesting isn't it?):
Definition of sacrifice
(Entry 1 of 2)
1 : an act of offering to a deity something precious especially : the killing of a victim on an altar
2 : something offered in sacrifice
George Floyd was a victim and was a sacrifice! Now close your eyes and say this: Pelosi was correct and Faux was wrong. And, I (CKS) is moron for parroting everything Faux says.
You know, you trio Cuck-Chicken-CaCa call me stupid all the time - but in reality you three run your mouth and use smart sounding rubbish facts and/ or illogical inferences just in attempts to win an argument; but when responded to your bullshit, they are easily proven to be nothing but stupidity on your part. You three waste people's time all the time pumping shit on this board.
True
babies were once sacrificed to the gods.
People have always been crazy. But there was always the smart ones who did the sacrificing and they didn't sacrifice themselves and probably not their own family.

If George Floyd was a sacrifice for the “greater good”, than Chauvin is partly responsible for contributing to that greater good. Your liberal white take in defense of Pelosi’s comments, which she rightly clarified, was roundly criticized by Black activists in the wake of her initial comments.
