Anyone miss me?  LOL

Pitch is right though; some of us are actually busy enough not to come on the board very often. Too, besides the nonsense, many MANY guys here have made it perfectly clear that they resent any input from a provider (I think it interferes with their idea of fantasy GFE [fantasies that include no opinions, no words and nothing but in and out action]).

Me, I tend to forget to come here because I'm holding two civvie jobs as well as being a provider. I'll go to my local boards first, and then TER if it isn't too late. By the time eleven rolls around I'm ready to call it a night.

Tranny boy's lame OP's about about genetic makeup of BHO & Hitler getting 677 & 579 reads respectively ? HUH ?! ( besides, John Galt previously did similar Hitler post & did not get nearly as many reads ). "EOM" messages getting hundreds of reads ?! WTF ?!------Hell----maybe I'll buy the "tinfoil hat" explanations this time.

2. Notice how few providers post on this board ? Why is that ? ( maybe you slobs need to bathe----------;) )

a fuck? SPs do read this board but few post. Posting an opinion about this board's topics might not be a good marketing decision for a SP.

firstly, the bizarre read counts are not unique to this forum, other boards get it.

Why? Some of it has to do with web crawlers, and google searches, and Facebook link hits, and the like.

Sometimes, its the poster themself who keeps increasing their page reads because of links, or browser refreshers etc.

I once accused Xiaominglover1 of doing just that. don't recall if he ever responded or not.

Also, since the new TER format was introduced with the classic TER website still live and accessible, there is the potential for doubling up on the page reads.

Add to that the increase on European readership via the German language site, and you have a partial explanation for the erratic nature of page read counts.

But other than bragging rights, what the fuck does it matter if your post got 120 hits in 2 days, and xfean gets 23,590 hits in 1 hour? Maybe xfean has a network of friends on an email list or facebook page that engorges the page read #'s? What's the BFD? This is small stuff. You should be more concerned about the proliferation of sexually repressive laws and actions by the government at a time when sexual awareness is expanding beyond the point of containment by Dogma and Deputies.

There is a huge disconnect between the number of users on line - which ranges from 4 to 5 thousand at any given time - and the very small number of reads of posts on any board which rarely exceeds 200. I presume that means that the great majority of TER users go straight to the reviews and ignore the boards.

    I would have though that the same software that tracks reads of posts could do so for reviews. This would also be a big marketing tool for TER as it would give some idea of the power of a single review.

Do you happen to know the answer as to why read counts for reviews are not recorded?

favorite post or two to bask in gape-mouthed wonderment at the brillance of the pearls I so often cast, for free no less, before so  many unappreciative swine in this here forum, I never deleiberately mutiple click on my posts simply to drive up the read count in an artificial manner.  I perfer the lower read counts - i like my audience to be selective, discriminating, loyal, appreciative and whenever possible, in total agreement.

Glad to see, despite an absence of at least 7 weeks,  that I'm not totally forgotten by all.

I have only visited the sports board one time, and that was on the occasion of John Wooden's  death.  I am a Yankee fan in recovery, and i have a lifelong loathing of the NY/NY Jets.

As for the strange atraction of Priapus53 to/for  liorr's posts, which you claim to discern, i must plead innocence of all charges, details and specifications.

BTW, how quickly we forget - I've generally used the diminutive "Pallys" as it's fewer keystroke for me to 'eff up.

If you are broke and can't afford VIP, afraid to visit a provider and do a review,have you ever thought of doing TER problem reports for free VIP. If a ninth grade drop out can do problem reports with ease, whats your excuse?
