brought this up because Eastwood was mentioned in thread below; I have 4 favorites : "Good, the Bad & the Ugly" "Dirty Harry" "The Unforgiven" &
" In the Line of Fire". Masterpieces all, IMO.

So, what are your candidates for favorite Eastwood movies ?

Gran Torino

Gran Torino

Before that masterpiece came out, I would have said 1.The Good The Bad and The Ugly, 2.The Outlaw Josie Wales and 3.High Plains Drifter

acting.

My favorite line:

"Two Mules for Sister Sara" (go figure, Shirley MacLean plays a prostitute) and "Paint Your Wagon" (two guys and one gal; yummy!)

Pale Rider. Pale Rider more of the cinematography than the acting, and for the shear visceral catharsis of sticking it to the big mining company and its ruthless boss played by Michael Moriarty.

For whatever reason, the movie resonates with me.
