While campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.
According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay, a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.
I can't help but be reminded of the story of how the Reagan campaign had made a backroom deal with Tehran to hold onto the 52 hostages until AFTER the election so as to make Carter look weak and Reagan strong.
Like I said, one has nothing to do with the other, and I'd really prefer to believe the Reagan hostage story was false.

I mean who tells the truth instead of their personal opinionated views.
I have lost faith in every one of them. We need a media reform. There is no factual news other than the weather and sports. I guess it is hard to make the looser a winner and weather is something you just can't lie.
