The democratic process?

Power and wealth have always belonged to those who organize themselves more effectively. All Obama is doing is telling people that if they don't want to be shit on, they'd better get organized and wield some influence.

A democratic system is ALWAYS in the process of redistributing power and wealth. That's the very nature of sucha  system.

It doesn't surprise me that a rabid right winger would be afraid of the democratic process, though.

Damn'd, you are indeed wormie. There is a concept in America, not yet quite dead, but on its deathbed, that individual liberty is ok, that hard work is ok, that thievery is not ok, that thievery by the government doesn't make thievery ok, it merely tarnishes government, or worse, makes it illigitimate. If you want economic redistribution, get a job, work hard, don't squander your money and then ask your neighbor to pay your bills, or worse ,send your government thugs over to pummel your neighbor out of his money. Show some self respect, quit being a slimey liberal.

We already have redistribution of wealth in the form of crop subsidies, preferential tax policy for corporations, export subsidies, and on and on ad nauseum.

Can you wrap your small mind around the idea that corporatists already have rigged the system to gain a disproportionate share of the nation's wealth? If not, then you;re so ignorant that a discussion with you is impossible. If so, then why don't I hear you railing against corporate welfare?
