1. since obama has not recieved a single vote for any of his budget proposals, do you think it is accurate to call this HIS record?
2. obama whines about a congress that NEVER gives him what he wants, maybe that's been a good thing?
3. the metric is year over year % increase, since bush REALLY bumped up spending on bailouts, TARP etc AND Iraq is wound down, do you really consider this a success?

Does anyone believe that apart from that one item, the government spent only 600 billion, the difference, in 3 years?
Put another way, does anyone believe that apart from stimulus, the gov spent an average of 200 billion per year?

What is wrong with the stimulus when the economy is in a shit hole? Tax cuts for the wealthy? Not a single main stream and rational economist would ever support it. UK is doing really well with their austerity measures by the Conservative PM Cameron, they are thriving.
