Here's a movement I can get behind - the time for accountability is long overdue. We can't wait another 487 days until the grownups are back in charge at the White House.

My job has me in and out of scores of businesses and government buildings daily. I'm gonna enjoy wearing the hat they'll be sending me.

Who exactly are the "grown ups" to whom you refer?

Well, it was partly a dig at the Republicans who used that line in 2001 - but it does go deeper.

Grown ups are people who don't spend money they don't have on things they don't need and that won't wind up costing them even more in the future.

Grown ups are people who resolve their differences with other people in ways that don't require violence and killing as a first resort.

Grown ups don't take actions that benefit them and their friends to the detriment of the majority based on short term gains without regard to the impact their actions have in the future.

Grown ups show respect to those with other opinions and engage in reasoned discussion of differences instead of demonizing and ridiculing any viewpoint other than their own.

Grown ups play by agreed upon rules, taking advantage of opportunities but stopping short of cheating because they have integrity.

Grown ups share their good fortune with those less fortunate, having outgrown the selfishness of childhood.

Get the picture?

I see your description of a grown up, now could you name a few for me. I'd be especially interested in hearing about which one of these alleged grown ups that you are going to name will be inhabiting the white house in 2008.
