But when it escalates into riots with burning and looting, they are no better than the Jan. 6th participants.  If they are going to do it, they should do it before Trump assumes office.  Now that he only has one term left, I think he will be less tolerant of "protesting" that turns into violence and property destruction.   He can just tell them if they don't settle down, he will nuke Chicago, . . . . but I'm getting ahead of myself.  Let's see if they can protest peacefully between now and January 20th, as the first amendment allows.
