The story being reported in the news probably belongs on the P&R board but the below I think justifies the GD post.

Context here is judges that grossly violate their oaths and the law but manage to keep their jobs.

"In Texas, a judge burst in on jurors deliberating the case of a woman charged with sex trafficking and declared that God told him the defendant was innocent. The offending judge received a warning and returned to the bench. The defendant was convicted after a new judge took over the case."

Given this was TX I was wondering if GaG had asked the judge to intervene for one of his girls so he didn't have to find a good replacement...but the whole God think seems off. LOL

for personal benefit??? NEVER! At least no one died, or villages burned!! I agree with GaG.... Judge was a client! P’bly Baptist as well!
