I happen to agree. I think bringing on Cuomo at this late stage would completely splinter the Democratic party. The problem I see is that they are fucking over Bernie, and if they fuck over Joe, too, there will be that many more Dem's that will stay home on election day, which will cost them retention of the House. I don't see Cuomo being able to win over all of the Bernie AND Biden supporters if the DNC steps in and changes the nominee to someone who didn't even run.
Enthusiasm for Joe is about the lowest ever measured (though measurement only goes back a few elections.) I'm pretty sure you could swap him out easily enough and most people would forget about Joe in a day or two.
And to a lesser extent Kerry and Gore. There are simply ZERO rabid Biden supporters, even Hillary had people enthusiastically supporting her, but how many rabid Biden, Romney, McCain, Kerry, Gore supporters did you ever meet?
