one day, I saw the new motto of "Kerry/Edwards for a New America".

Thinking aloud, does this mean a new America where:-

- an America that will be controlled under the auspices of the terrorists and the French
- an America that will introduce a new income tax bracket of over 65% or more
- an America where the de factor weaponry for the defence of the nation will be state-of-the-art 'spitballs'
- an America where healthcare will be managed by the best trial lawyers around
- an America where everyone is compelled to wear flip flops to work or else

If not, then what does a New America mean? For those of you who are voting in under two months, think long and hard about this.

Things have changed since you last did.  The race is tight.  I think that the reason for that is that people who are not partisans either way are being heard, at least in the last couple of days.
    I have said before, polls in June, July, August and to a large extent, September, October are bunk unless one candidate has a big lead in late October.  The polls that are taken a day or two before the election are the ones that are most accurate, especially given the sophistication of modern polling.  Now, when a poll is taken the night before, there will be no Truman-Dewey relapse.

Whether it works or not, I'll reiterate: Bush went AWOL (gaps in his record), Bush is Dumb, Kerry served in Vietnam (all facts prove that) and Kerry has quite a good Senate record.  

BTW, Bush would be Hitler "reincarnate," unless Hitler's incarnation wasn't the real Hitler to begin with, in your opinion. The original wasn't good enough for you, I take it?  Compassionate Nazism?  

Zell Miller a hate monger?  No, not even that significant.  He's just an asshole.  And a very tiny one at that.

I'll add another one: Bush is the first Latin American President of the United States!
