Trump will probably be told by the GOP to resign or be impeached within the next several weeks.  They are pressuring Mueller to release something to back them up.   Trump has been so disruptive to the party it is ready to split into two or possible three separate parties.

The thinking is to get Pence in there now and have a year to normalize things before the mid terms.   Trump has already threatened to support contenders for seats of GOP congressmen and senators who he deems unfaithful.  He loses a lot of the ability to do that when he's not in office.

Wait and see...

More talks of Impeachment. Blah blah blah. We've been witnessing this song and dance from the libs for nearly a year with no results.

Although it is true that a few rogue Democrats have filed articles of impeachment bills or inquiries or whatever they call the first step in the process,  no reasonable legislator is going to threaten impeachment BEFORE Mueller finishes his report. If they did, they would look pretty ridiculous if the Special Counsel finds no criminal violation by Trump. While impeachment offenses are not necessarily criminal, that is the first thing they would look at in deciding whether “other high crimes or misdemeanors” have been committed. Further, since a “corrupt intent” is required for presidential obstruction of justice, and Mueller has not even interviewed Trump yet, there is no way he would have that kind of info yet, unless some other crime is involved.

As for any GOP “official” or legislator  who is pressuring Muller to “release something” to support resignation/impeachment, that guy is so clueless about the special counsel process as to be an idiot. Muller has no power to decide to “release something” before the investigation is complete. He is bound by DOJ guidelines on public comments on pending investigations. Even his final report is confidential (I’ll give Jack credit for pointing that out to me) - Mueller can’t decide to release that even if he wants to do so – that is up to the discretion of the AG, or I guess the DAG in this case.

Wishful thinking to be sure, but you need to dial back the "probably."

There is nothing credible in Mueller's investigation that could be used to  prosecute MAGA President Trump.

You will continue to  prove beyond a shadow of doubt your excellent failures comprehending  written words, as long as you stay tuned to Fake News while refusing  the Pussy  cure for TDS.

How else could he say so definitively "there is nothing credible in Mueller's investigation that could be used to prosecute" Trump?

Thank you for that rousing and stimulating discussion of the CFR as it applies to special counsels.  Who cares- Meuller makes a finding the GOP can make a noose out of, it's going around Trumps neck sooner rather than later.

My opinion my rules.

carried out on a stretcher, or escorted out the back door in a straight jacket (figuratively speaking) before he's impeached. Kelly can only keep the lid on for so long! ;)

You are probably right.  He won't face impeachment.  Instead he will resign so he can keep his presidential title, secret service detail and presidential pension.

No one, not even I, knows what info Mueller has.  So until his investigation is complete, none of us will know what "could be used to prosecute Trump."
At least I don't speculate what he does, or does not, have. Like quad, who pretends to be omniscient.
That was the entire point. But nice try with your red herring.

Fortunately, unlike the Presidential election, only a small minority of our most gullible fools will suffer a let down when Mueller finds nothing of substance with MAGA President Trump and the Russian Collusion Fable.

It's kind of funny that everyone felt trump was going to win. Here in NY, there was an Obama frenzy in 2008. It diminished in 2012 but Mitt wasn't the talk of the town. Trump, however was everywhere here. In the suburbs of NY and NJ there were Trump signs planted on folks lawns. Unheard of for a republican candidate in these states. Anyone who opened there  eyes here knew trump would win. Jake can confirm.

I'm not sure where you were during the 2016 campaign seeing all those Trump signs in New York and NJ.  So how come Clinton won NY by 1.7 million votes and NJ by 500K?

NY and NJ always go blue. But NEVER have folks in these states planted signs on there lawns for a republican presidential candidate!!! It showed the mood of our country that folks were sick of Obama and the democratic failed policies that crippled the middle class for too many years.
