provide me a lefty-link "proving" this was caused by Bush's backing out of Kyoto, VP Cheney's oil ties or Ashcroft's uptight lifestyle? C'mon pinkos, it surely couldn't happen without some sort of neocon conspiracy could it??

I am Independent. This is the problem with everything today, the mindset that we MUST lay blame on everything that happens on someone else.

IMO I think it may have to do with all the hotair the Repubs. are trying to fill the citizens of USA with. There must be some sort of tunnel that pipes it into every state and Haliburton must have inadvertantly tapped into Mt St Helens.

Then again, all the hurricanes in FL are a result of? Perhaps a deeper message telling us to not let the election scandal of 2000 happen again in 2004?

I thought Archie Bunker was the last person who said "pinko".

You wear the resemblence well, though.

On the other hand- not hard to think that Florida's woes are a fine return to M. La Boosh's refusal to believe that GLOBAL WARMING is a real thing.  Biblical response to an unholy idiot!  And it dorks his brother too!

I DO feel for those people, but a little part of my mind thinks they asked for it!

Of course the avg. Floridian is too dense to make the connection, or too busy digging out!

Would the recent earthquake in California be retribution or a sign that the "left coast" should support Pres. Bush instead of Sen. Kerry?

We know how Storms develop- warm water regions.  Earthquakes we are just beginning to understand.

The Earthquake would be a sign to get rid of Ahnold!

Here we go again, the leftist elete mentality thinking the American population is just a collection of idiots that need to be rulled since they are too stupid to decide for themselves.

......"Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.  You can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you..."

Sometimes I think the left truely belives in devine Providence.

Actually, I think Providence is not too bad.  A tad cold in the Wintah though.  Good airport for trip to the cape tho'!

I think you will find that we think they ought to be better educated so they can actually do a better job ruling themselves.

In Europe, one can, and I sometimes have, get into a good chat about international affairs with a butcher or a shop girl.  They will have an informed opinion.  Here, you are lucky if you can get them off last night's Apprentice (what a piece of shite that is)!
