Between your post on my recent thread on the National and this one, you are certainly doing a good job of living up to your handle.

This is a discussion board...read, a place where people post thoughts for DISCUSSION purposes.  If it does anything in addition to that, ooo-rah!  If not, no loss...mission is still accomplished.

If you find it to be shit, you can choose to not read it.  However, your attitude is out of place.

Try paxil...quickly.

The question I asked, how many people here are going to change the way they will vote after reading all this S**T? So are you going to answer it or not? Seems to me you're like Bush, you answer a question with some dumb a** statement.

I ask myself why I post here - I question both my motives to post, and my reasons for posting here.  Your challenge goes to the first question I ask myself.

Mainly, because it's an exercise to refine my thinking.  People here are all over the place, but they are usually bold, sometimes very knowledgeable and skilled in writing, and generally fun to read.  So I want to understand my own beliefs in this place and ensure I know what think and why.

I would like to think I influence some, but I'd also like the most beautiful providers out there to beg me to spend some time with them in primal acts.  I think the odds are about the same.

So, my that's my anwer.  Now my question to you: why did you pose the question and more importantly, why did you pose it with such anger?

you asked it in a manner that implied that you really cared about the answer, I would have taken your question seriously.  My impression then and now was that it was more a statement regarding the content of the board than a real question, but nice attempt at recovery.

Let me also state the obvious...if most were concerned with truly changing peoples minds on here, the responses wouldn't be so acerbic.  This board since its inception has most been a place for people to air their differences.  As almost 90% of the general population of this country already has their mind made up, it would follow that an even higher percentage of the people who go to this board, on a service that is devoted to escorts, are in that same category.

However, if someone falls in the undecided category out there...be aware that most of the rancor here is highly partisan.  There are many places on the internet to get more neutral information than here.  The best things available here are more detailed information about specific
subjects, information that fleshes out the sound bites that the candates often deliver, and, most importantly, entertainment from numerous sources.

My kudos to our moderator for keeping things manageable in a potentially volatile environment

... when it is that is a very good thing.  Politics is about the collective issues of our lives and how groups and nations work to get their "way".  It is endlessly fascinating.

When it involves a lot of name calling, the people involved can seem like to dogs on leashes snarling at each other.

Hopefully, there will be more politics.

My mind has changed in major ways about politics.  In the early '90s, I was Limbaugh fan.  Actually, this board has galvanized my support for Kerry, so it has "changed my mind."

I couldn't predict coming in to here that it wouldn't.

A_Hole: Do you always judge the success of a conversation by the changing of minds?  There are several other reasons why I would post, and why I read posts from opposing opinions.

One is to always challenge myself.  A belief I hold without question is worse than being misled.  It is the same for others here.

Good post, Nicole.

Feynman was extremely intelligent and wise, it is too bad we've lost him.  I have several of his books myself, mostly his physics lectures, not his wisdom books.  I like to believe if he were alive, he'd probably be a hobbyist.  A lot was made of the fact that he occassionally visited strip clubs.

It is an unfortunate paradox in human relations that we can only gain knowledge in doubt, but that doubt shows weakness and therefore leaves status vulnerable.

Yes, "The Color Force," I had never heard it referred to with that term before, I had only heard it referred to as "The Strong Force."

I haven't found NetM's post, yet.  I'll look later.
