Come on man. 230,000 Americans are dead and millions are infected. Doctors are not doing this to make a buck. They'd make a lot more on all those elective surgeries that have been canceled.

Unless it has changed the New York state  emergency declaration ends the day after the election. We will also so the covid-19 fear porn headlines die. The actual number people die is decreasing, more people are surviving now.

Things are getting worse and the pace is increasing.

More people are surviving as COVID-19 is mutating to be less deadly. (thank Goodness) Everyone I know, who has had it recently says its like a cold where as in the beginning it was putting people in Hospitals.  

BUT all that doesn't matter.  

The republicans want things opened back up so they don't have to do another bail out and they want the economy rolling again.

The Democrats realize that if they are going to raise taxes with out totally tail-spinning the US economy they have to get it somewhat functioning again.

Soooo I predict lock downs will cease. When I said Shortly in the OP it kinda sounded like I meant the next day after the election. Not the next day  but not long either.

We have mishandled this pandemic in unimaginably bad ways at the federal level. We don't really have any real lockdowns anyway, especially not where the infections are spiking.  

We are now considered the plague rats of the world. If lockdowns are lifted, we won't be welcome anywhere for a very long time and many of us will get sick, some will be permanently disabled, and some will die.  

Listen to doctors and scientists, not carnival barkers. You would not only be more likely to be alive and healthy, your hobbying options -- here and abroad -- would be vastly better.
