Imagine being able to meet someone that you detest from this board in the Octagon, man against man.

I bet some of the mouths here would shut up real quick if they had to back up their "free speech".

Before all I get flamed from all of the liberals about how us conservatives must resort to our fists, McCain led a fight in Congress to ban the UFC during the 90's.

that they are somewhat anonymous. You argue with the point, not with the person, and you have time to think about it before you write it. If half of this board's subjects were hashed out in person, fistfights or worse would break out.

Remember when they used to say "never talk about politics or religion?" The Internet has changed that. It has broken the barrier on politics, and now people actually can now discuss it in the real world, too.

It might not all be civil on an unmoderated board, but it's close to civil as it could be.
