That BS must now stop or else you (Trump voters) will seriously earn the label of sore and sour winners! That caricature (former) President Obama which the right wing had consistently made with all this fluff and nonsense about being a back seat driver, negotiating from a position of weakness, apologist, yada, yada is now GONE!

You have made a habit of endearing me with phrases like getting paid by the words I type, so for the brevity's sake, I will excuse myself from a very, very loooooooooooong list of Mr. Obama's accomplishments without one iota of cooperation from a hostile and insurgent U.S. Congress for the past 6 years but I can not stop myself from this one which is an undeniable and irrefutable fact:

The Navy's Seal Team 6 on the orders of President Obama embarked on a mission to conduct a raid inside a sovereign nuclear powered nation (Pakistan) to either capture or to kill Osama Bin Ladin which led to OBL's final demise. Unless one is an Alex Jone's whackadoo follower, this president who was painted the most feeble, weak and spineless had the cajones to carry out this promise which he had made from his campaign days.  

Now go ahead and refer to Mr. Obama as (an insinuated) p*ssy all you want ;)

I think the winner is neither Putin nor Trump and by extension America, but the true winner in all this will be China's President Xi Jinping and the nation of China! President Trump will foolishly, if he holds true to his theme of isolationism, misplaced populism aka nativism and protectionism, will only bring more misery to America, its workers and its citizens.

Of course I could be wrong but I have also studied history and have read this movie script before. You may not have to gleefully invest in those therapy piggies because as someone who's background is purportedly vested oil and gas, a Trump presidency may end up being good for you but bad for the populace. If the Putin model of "success and strength" is going to be a template, our Leader will most probably use U.S. Military which is a national treasure ala a goon squad to go around the World to push its weight around on behalf of the elite (ref: Maj Gen Smedley Butler's War is a Racket), will weaken our very important institutions by way of authoritarianism. Nepotism at the highest levels of power will lead to the erosion of American exceptionalism and the control of an immense amount of wealth by even a fewer percentile than any time before.  

I for one will no longer be wondering, "ask not what your Country can do for you, ask what you can do for your Country" because I had already decided since Nov 9th that my motto and will as I go forward is  going to be, ME FIRST, ME FIRST, ME FIRST.

In conclusion, I will be borrowing a very famous phrase from my presently jubilant "friends" who had constantly used it in the past 8 years, mostly unjustifiably, by saying on this very first day of the Trump presidency and as we go forward under his leadership: "Thank you Trump!" for everything that I will do which I know will be wrong but I will still attribute them all to you!

Relaxed regulations, opening federal lands to drilling, etc etc, have the effect of increasing US production, which in turn has the effect of lowering prices. This is good for the country, but hardly good for an independent oil man like me.  

My support of Trump is hardly a ME FIRST type of support. I support Trump because the alternative was Hillary and I don't know if this country could survive a third Obama term and still be recognizable as anything but a EU colony.

I believe I will do well under a Trump administration NOT because he is going to be so friendly to the oil business, but because of my belief that a rising tide will lift all boats. Access to capital is going to be much easier and I believe that while oil prices are not going back to $100 anytime soon, I can do just fine at the present levels of fifty bucks or so.

A war with Iran will be the tsunami which will rise and eventually destroy all those boats. $40-50 barrels are not going to help the Russian petro-economy anytime soon. A war causing $250+ per barrel will be a lot more taxing on the Chinese and the Indian economies which are a lot more energy dependent than the U.S. (Thank Obama!) may bode well for a protectionist type Trump presidency.

That ME FIRST mantra was all about ME as I don't give a fooque about the rest of you(s) ;)

and I would not be so quick to predict that Trump is going to be as protectionist as his rhetoric. Obama's "style" was to negotiate from an apologists stance of weakness. Trump is going to do the exact opposite. Obama started off every negotiation letting the guys on the other side of the table knowing exactly what lines he would or would not cross. Trump doesn't leave ANYTHING off the table when negotiating and that's EXACTLY what we need when dealing with China in particular

Aside from that, what you call "accomplishments" I call "travesties" I only wish the GOP controlled Congress had more cajones the last two years as Obama rammed more bad deals down our throats, like the Iran deal while the GOP had control of Congress than he did when he had a supermajority, with the exception of ObamaCare which except for the Iran deal is the worst piece of legislature since The Patriot Act.

As for sore/sour winners, I guess you didn't hear Trump speak today, he was downright gracious in victory and didn't do anything close to thumbing his nose like was widely predicted by you lefties. Unsurprisingly it was the lefties today who proved themselves to be bad losers today as evidenced by the not so peaceful protestors in the streets today.

Watch the excellent report by Fareed Zakaria.  The organization that became ISIS started in Abu Ghraib under Bush.  And there was NEVER any chance of our leaving "50-100,000" troops in Iraq.  Ever.  The Pentagon wanted to leave 24,000 (half your minimum number) and Obama wanted to leave 10,000. I don't know where you got that number GaGa but I assume you just pulled it out of your ass. But keep drinking that Kool-Aid.

Yes, GaG's numbers are wrong but he is not "totally wrong about ISIS."  

Had Obama taken them on as they moved east from Syria into western Iraq, he could have decimated them as they were out in the open.  

Had he done so AND left a residual force of 20k or so, there never would have been any caliphate, or anywhere near the thousands murdered and raped or hundreds of thousands of refugees.

I like Fareed a bit too but he is a leftist. Don't try and paint him as some disinterested, political centrist bc that is not the case.

GaG and you are, in fact, totally wrong that ISIS started on Obama's watch.  And Zakaria is not a leftist, he's just rational and doesn't conform to your prejudices.  I read one of his books years ago before he was well known.  And he's far from the only one who calls bullshit and your and GaG's ISIS narrative.
Then there's the bullshit about "Obama could have left troops in Iraq."  Maybe, but not with a SOF agreement that Maliki would not give him because he was a tool of Iran.
Last, ISIS would not have been able to "sweep" into Iraq if Maliki hadn't turned the Iraqi army into a joke staffed with his bribe-paying stooges.  The Iraqi army that was in place when US troops left could have turned ISIS away easily.  The "checkpoint" army it became never even stood and fought because it was corrupted from within.
Now, aided by US air power and trainers, the Iraqis are pushing ISIS out.  They have recaptured most of the land ISIS took in 2015 and just finished taking the eastern half of Mosul.

If we had left 50,000, 100,000 or even 20,000 troops in Iraq there would have been no ISIS for us to have had to fight. ISIS flourished in the vacuum Obama left by pulling out all our forces and so did Iran.  

The Dems call Trump Putins lapdog, Obama was the best lapdog the Iranians ever could have had. Thanks to Obama they are not only the most influential country in the region, but they now have plenty of money again to boot. and of course they still hate us as much as ever, but now they are in a position to do something about it.

Even though I suppose Congress could impeach for something done before reaching office, in fact that could never happen.  So since Trump has only been in office for a couple of hours, what possible basis would impeachment have?
Then there's the practical reality that impeachment is about the last thing Ryan would allow to happen.
So talking about it is a waste of time.

Trump is impulsive and reckless. He may get himself into more legal troubles, with the additional arrogance that his new position has given him. Simply saying he can grab any woman's pussy or any man's dick because he is Mr President, will not get him impeached or land him in jail. Revelations of sexual affair with a young consenting adult also will not land him in jail. However, if a video showing him molesting or forcing himself on a woman (or a man) comes out, he will be in trouble. Many will be looking hard evidence. He gives many opportunities.

Who do you think Ryan would prefer to have as President. The person he can work best with, and can predict his behavior?

My guess is the Republicans will allow the Dems. to pursue avenues of impeachment. Protest loudly, when they do so. But, behind closed doors, pull out the knives, figuratively, much like the Roman Senators did to Julius Caesar. Trump will look into Ryan's eyes and say "Et tu Brute?"  But, then again, I could be wrong. But, I will not be surprised if it goes down that way!  ;)

Evidence of a huge conflict of interest scandal between Trump Inc and a foreign leader will most likely be exposed by U.S. intelligence. I won't put it past Putin and or Erodoghan, President of Turkey, to blackmail Trump. The dirty evidence will then be presented to Paul Ryan and he will ask Trump, to either resign or face impeachment. Trump resigns quietly and bingo Pence becomes our next President.

I checked the very same Paddy Power mentioned in your linked article and found the very same 7/4 odds that I mentioned in my post to Jake. I guess I should thank you for proving I don't just pull these numbers out of my ass.

I don't see a chance in hell of him being impeached, not with the GOP solidly in charge of the House and even Dems will rethink this when the socially conservative (AKA Bible Thumper) Mike Pence starts warming up in the bullpen.

As usual, I am more than willing to put my money where my mouth is, but as usual I don't expect anyone to step up to the table.

and no, I have NOT made any bets yet as I didn't see a "come back" bet on Trump NOT getting impeached and even if there were you have to put cash up to make these bets and the bookie gets to hold your bet until it's graded. In the case of the bet of Trump "not getting impeached" lets say I wanted to put ten grand on this bet. I would have to send Ten Grand to the bookie for them to hold for four years in the hopes I would collect a measly Five Grand return on my money assuming I win the bet and assuming they are still in business. I can get a lot better than a fifty percent return on my money  by hanging on to it. My US based bookie is not taking these kind of bets any more as he got killed taking bets on the election. Almost everyone who bet with him bet on Trump, he lost well into the six digits when Trump won.
