New tech that they have no issue with the public viewing on a daily basis?

The FBI has quite possibly the most awful take ever. “We don’t know what they are, but they’re not a threat.”

Holy fuck this Administration can’t leave office fast enough.

I remember the UFO waves of the 50's and 60's. It's a form of hysteria. People who never looked up in the sky are now all primed by the news to see every light as an invading drone.  I'm not saying there aren't some drones, just that there are the millions that people are now seeing.  I've seen pictures of lights that were obvious airport landing patterns -- where flights are in a row on final approach.

It is a real phenomenon for sure. It is baffling local police and mayors. Numerous ex-military and drone experts are on local TV, as well as CNN and Fox, saying they have never seen anything like it. The “we don’t know what they are, but they’re not a threat” is pissing people off on both sides of the aisle.

The White House and Homeland Security are sending out opposing messages. Something is clearly up.

The military got involved quickly when there's a real unidentified flying object making an appearance.
I see no involvement other that looking at them like everyone else is doing. These are not small recreational drones either. These are quite large! Something is definitely not right AT all.

State and local police were also convinced of the UFO waves of the 50's and 60's.  With many reports coming in from law enforcement people.  Hysteria is a human condition and police are human.

Probably some new tech they’re working on. They’re like the Volvo of fighter jets.

The coast guard is on record that a swarm of them were following one of their ships. They are hovering over military bases most recently a U.S. Air Force base in Germany.
.
As for UFOs, several former Pentagon officials have given sworn testimony to Congress very recently that the earth is being visited by “NHI” as in “non human intelligence.” Look up Nancy Mace’s questioning of former Pentagon Luis Elizondo just a few months ago. It was a public hearing. He ran the secret UFO program for the pentagon, a program the government denied having until he came forward to The NY Times. Just bc you don’t believe something doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

The large sizes and long flight times in addition the reports of them being quiet is interesting as well. Also the fact they are lit up… 🤔 means they obviously aren’t trying to be stealthy.

My suspicions lean towards some one who is beyond wealthy and bored. This is a group effort of a number of people PLUS the sightings in multiple states?

You know all the mysteries of the universe? I don't . The people I am referencing are GS-15 level, meaning they are the highest ranking in terms of pay scale and worked with the highest clearances on the secret UFO Pentagon program. They no longer work for the government and they are def NOT "kooks." Congress doesn't get briefed by "kooks" on a regular basis.
.
For those more open minded, read the below NY Times article that started it all back in 2017, a 60 Minutes piece a few years later and Lue Elizondo on CNN:

That is a federal crime. They are risking jail time by doing so. There are too many reports to mention by military saying there are so many drones over some bases that the commander will postpone training exercises. The Pentagon, publicly at least, is saying they are stumped by it all. Langley AFB was inundate very recently with drones over several weeks! According to Lester though, it's all mass hysteria or delusion. smh.

Does that really make sense? No, new technology is experimented with on massive open land spaces that the government owns, where if an accident were to happen, it would fall harmlessly to the ground where no one lives.

Let’s put it this way. Nothing can travel faster than light. We know the only intelligent life in our solar system is us. Intelligent aliens, by definition, would have to come from another solar system. Do you have any idea how far away they are?

The fastest thing mankind has ever created are the Voyager space probes. Launched in the late 1970’s, it would take them around 40,000 years to reach stars that are only 1-2 light years away.

Aliens are not visiting us. The distance is far too great for any living creature to travel between them.

I am a skeptic regarding intelligent ETs on Earth.  However ...
.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_perspectives_on_UFO_belief
"Harvard University psychiatrist John E. Mack suggested that some of the patients he examined related actual encounters with non-humans or non-human controlled UFOs that were not explainable as cases of mental illness or other differential experiences. ..." But his work has been severely criticized.
.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avi_Loeb
(Avi Loeb (Harvard Astrophysicist) thinks ETs have visited Earth.)
"... In 2018, he suggested that alien space craft may be in the Solar System, using ʻOumuamua as an example.[7] In 2023, he claimed to have recovered material from an interstellar meteor that could be evidence of an alien starship,[8] which some experts criticized as hasty and sensational,[9][10] and for which other experts found more Earth-related explanations instead, demonstrating that the seismic signal attributed by Loeb to the alleged interstellar space craft was actually caused by ordinary truck traffic. ..."
.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immanuel_Velikovsky
Velikovsky had a bunch of theories about ETs and ancient history. Most of it has been debunked.
.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_for_extraterrestrial_intelligence
I'm not going to read all of the updates to the SETI wiki, but I will go out on a limb and say there is nothing verifiable.
.
I don't know the earliest source (maybe a humorist or cartoonist in the 1950s? maybe a serious scientist in the 1950s?) but MANY have asked, repeatedly: Why do the ETs mostly visit untrained people in the boondocks and do NOT use superior tech to seek and find scientists, astronomers, etc.? (Movie exception: Klaatu came to Earth in an obvious way to make his presence known and to address world leaders about peace in the universe. ... If only the real Klaatu would pay us a visit ...)
.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identification_studies_of_UFOs
IMO, Unidentified does not mean Extraterrestrial. There is almost always a credible non-ET explanation.
.
Which science fiction story do I think is more credible?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_in_Space
A group of incompetent space travelers keep screwing up and landing on different planets w/o actual control of where they land and not enough tech to find non-boondock life forms to talk to. --- The only ETs to reach Earth are incompetent goof balls with broken radios and technology that is less powerful than an abacus?
.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek
Space travelers using super high tech only conceivable in the imaginations of Sci Fi writers? HOWEVER, "Federation" by-laws require that they do not disrupt or interfere with resident civilizations. Hence, the "Star Trek" ETs who have visited Earth have kept their presence almost totally a secret except for occasional accidental leakage in the boondocks. They can use their invisibility cloaks and memory-eraser rays and other future-tech to remain invisible to VERIFIABLE detection.
.
Until an ET (noun) greets me personally and provides me with some incontrovertible ET (adj) proof, I remain a skeptic.

said on TV that they are alien UFO's  (Aliens from outer space, not Mexico, but still illegal if they land on US soil.).  That's good enough for me until someone has a better answer.

I have watched many historical K-dramas and Chinese movies about their imperial periods going back to 1000 BCE or earlier. There are many battle scenes and espionage scenes. Sometimes, they flew kites at night to create the illusion of a military invasion or of gods or goddesses coming down upon them. They also used lighted hot air balloons (Konming Lanterns) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_lantern .
.
Problem solved: the van sizes "drones" that hover for hours over the areas are giant box kites or hot air balloons with lightweight LED lighting or lights by fire (picture the burners in hot air balloons).
